Have you tried food banks in your area? You need to try them or local churches sometimes have food banks right on their premises, for people in need. Also you need to call someone and ask what you need to do about your rent, if it is from being on lockdown espeically.
@Janet Browning Yes I’ve gotten food from different food banks and churches. Sometimes I don’t have any gas to wait in those long lines. I’ve asked some churches help wit rent no one has helped with that. I know someone can help us 🇺🇸

‘Give a man a fish, it will feed him for a day. Give him the means to fish, it will feed him for a life time.’ Why are some people just going for Christmas Day items? It’s not going to get them far. They need to be given tins, packets and boxes of stuff that has a few months before they expire. So they get their Christmas Day items & what happens after its gone? They have to line up again. The organisers should give each car enough to last at least a month. And don’t say there might not be enough. I saw a few cars and small trucks getting a few big boxes of things. If each car was given enough to last at least 2 weeks or even a month, they wouldn’t have to queue up again so soon. I have seen the food warehouses where they stock it all. They’re massive.

Many people in the UK had planned a Christmas meal with others from their families. Sadly these plans have now been cancelled. Instead of feeding eight Christmas day there are just three. On a positive note we have donated any excess food to the local food bank which means a least another family will have a full Christmas meal. Many of my neighbours have done the same.
