Myanmar’s security forces have been intensifying their crackdown on anti-coup protesters and people are now starting to flee.
They have not attempted to leave the country in large groups yet, but neighbouring Thailand is preparing for the possibility of refugees.
But one of Myanmar’s ethnic armies that controls territory along the border says it is already sheltering hundreds who have fled the violence.
Al Jazeera’s Scott Heidler has more from the Thai border town of Mae Sot.

I wonder if the protesters genuinely believe that they have any change to overthrow a government that has had stable control for decades. A government that has consolidated power with the indirect support of Russia, China, India, and other strong partners. A government that clearly won’t back down to a little pressure.
Hundreds of police and soldiers have already defected because they were no longer able to take the pressure. The killings and torture create a hellish atmosphere, which affects the perpetrators themselves who then start to feel trapped in their own evil madness. Why is little Myanmar fighting to keep a partial democracy, but America is not fighting AT ALL to return to its partial democracy?

The official government video denies that handheld versions of this electromagnetic technology exists.

Handheld 5G EM weaponry has existed for, at least, three decades.
There is even a miniature version small enough to fit into a man’s front trouser pocket and still leave room for his hand inside the same pocket.
The power and range of this miniature gun can cause heart arrhythmia in the Target, and , consequently, death is a possibility.
This method is used to publicly execute a Target and have the death appear to be from medical causes rather than a CIA/DoD hit.
(Another rather ingenious assassination technique which has been developed by the CIA/DoD is food suffocation.
The food or drink of the Target is contaminated using a biological/chemical agent.
Upon consuming the slightest little bit of this contaminating agent, the Target’s throat immediately tightly swells up. The food is trapped in the throat’s passageway not allowing the victim to breathe and leading to suffocation.
The offending biological agent disappears from the victim’s system within minutes.
Once again, We see a gendre of assassination which gives the false impression that the victim was not murdered, but rather died due to an unhappy set of circumstances.

I’ve been an outspoken supporter of Rohingya citizenship for a decade now. Just irks me that people who don’t really care are constantly bringing them up. @dayy logg The militias are divided. During Armed Forces Day the KNU were the only ones who did show up when invited by the Tatmadaw. But recently KNU forces seized three army bases.

@Steven Green Most probably there are division within KNU. Anyway, it is better for the urban majority ethnic Burmese to form their own armies. The fighting tactics for jungle and urban warfare is totally different.
@dayy logg Without any weapons ( other than what they currently have) they can’t do much. Even with the help of armed groups it has been stated that they could only field a force of 100,000 at most. They are still outnumbered.
@Steven Green – The majority urban ethnic Burmese are very resourceful people. They know how to organized funding, acquisition, training and distribution of the firearms. And, they also know there are no turning back of the clock. Either they hunt or they are hunted down. The route to democracy is through an armed insurgency.

Myanmar is a large country. 400K soldiers is not a lot. with 100K rebels, I think the generals will cower for safety in their nappydor, Just put some regular ambushes and leak occasional assassination attempts rumours and the Generals will not have a peaceful night.
