They use fish sonar. They ask everyone to give them tips for cars! Find Adventures with purpose on youtube!

Awp does great work. It really isn’t fair to bash the pd I don’t think though. Unless they had a reason to think she was in the water there specifically, how would they know to look in the one spot? Awp is awesome at what they do, but sometimes it also comes down to luck and just being in the right spot.
How many people have they found so far.
Doesn’t seem like an isolated incident does it. Just doing what HUNDEREDS of cops couldn’t do on our dime. And we’ve paid for a Ton of Nice Toys for those clowns.
… bet they could have found it if it had a Defective License Plate Light 🤤
Your right , it’s not , the 3 dive teams Adventures With Purpose , and Chaos Divers , are the 2 teams that were on this case , and the 3rd team is Exploring with Nug . These 3 teams have found 24 missing people ( they look for people that went missing with their vehicle )
Sonar technology is getting better and better.. 🤔
They bring much needed closer for the family’s 😊💞✌
“closure”.
What awp say is true, there are a lot of circumstances as to y they couldn’t find annie lee. Like police can only dedicate so much time to one case as they have a lot of cases to work on, 2. Technology can b an issue. Like do they have the latest technology and do they understand how to use it. Awp has all the time in world to work on cases like annie lee and they understand how the sonar technology works better then the police. Jared has said that they are here to work WITH the police, they can do stuff that police can’t.
It’s Arkansas FFS.
I have to agree with the Gentleman that some people get way more attention when something happens to them, and others just don’t get hardly any coverage!
A 66 year old black woman. That’s what the news said – how about 66 year old Grandma to a whole town instead? I’ve seen the news jump on these stories – this one took 2 days to gain traction. Thank God AWP, Chaos etc don’t discriminate in their searches. These groups should be seen as a resource, not a an inconvenience.
WHo did this and why? She did it. It was likely an accident
On what do you base that conclusion?? That’s quite a leap for someone who knows little to nothing of the case!
@Dr. James Olack She is in a car in a river. Its not rocket science , numnuts
So sad 😢 the police are disappointing. And the reporter so beautiful. Love seeing woman reporting the news who don’t look like their going to the club.
Why comment on her race? Whenever they do these civilian divers car recoveries they never mention anyone’s else race.
Right
Money is why they never found her. We all know corruption is where the money goes.
I agree with the family 100%. The authorities didn’t even bother to look because it’s not their family and because it’s not important To the government what the family said they are write on to fill the way that they do Shame on The authorities
☝️ is helping me pay for my everyday life expenses. Success is the sum of small efforts reported day in and day out
To the family , and friends of Annie Lee Hampton , I’m sorry for your loss , may Annie RIP . A big thank you to Adventures With Purpose , and Chaos Divers , Jared , Doug , Josh , Carson , Jacob , Eric & Lindsay , for finding Annie .
🙏🏽🕊️🕯️
The pigs didn’t do their job. What else is new.
AWP dive team are great men.
Long ago, we boated and had sonar. It’s great.
Police departments, essspeciallllly these days, don’t have staff, funds, this type of skill, to do this work.
Years back, they just didn’t have skills or equipment for these types of searches.
I hope the millions of AWP followers, find a way to buy a shirt, buy a hat, donate.
My order is placed and my donation goes out this week.
And thrilled to see positive media attention.
👏👏👏
“Better gear” and “one of their resources” just without the pay. How embarrassing turning the situation around
It is amazing this new forensic technology called scuba diving has been used by the private sector very effectively finishing the job paid to professionals that are supposed to do this in the first place
Are Cops supposed to put out burning houses?
You have a fire department to do that.
Are Cops supposed to spend time in and under the water looking for cars?
You have AWP and their network to do that.
They have fish finders that anyone can buy.
@Mike T very true – but thousand dollar “side scanners” are NOt fish finders
These guys should hide their faces fast I could imagine a lot of mafioso would have their opinions on their job
Maybe if police departments spent the record number of dollars going to PDs on stuff they actually NEED for stuff like this instead of MRAPs and military weapons to protect pumpkin festivals more people would have been found. She was a missing black woman in the most racist state in the US so of course she wasn’t found.
Police departments near water don’t have sonar gear but they have tanks and armored personnel carriers.
Exactly. They are more worried about buying weapons to abuse citizens.
Underwater angels 😇
“Give me the bones so I can bury my mother” that hit hard
May God bless and protect this dive team in all their discoveries ❤️
Hari Sabtu.Tgl.29/1/2022/.Halim Talafuka,Allahumma Amiin.@$#.
How did AWP know where to look but the police department didn’t???
Years of experience, and equipment.
Keep in mind few doctors (cops) can perform open-heart surgery (AWP)
There are medical specialists – AWP is search and recovery specialists
Its shameful how we solve cold cases faster than the people we pay to do so
Wow that reporter was gorgeous 😍
“sgt” Alvin Honeycutt looks like the only thing he hunts is ham sammiches and just all the other calories…
All law enforcement agency should just contract these guys to do the searches of missing people. It’s obvious the police is no equipped to handle water rescue.
They found another one ☝🏼😇
Sometimes closure is good. 😍✌🏼
I hope the family gets they answers they are looking for.
God bless
I think police departments should have its own diving department- so when there is a missing person case, checking lakes and rivers should be one of the first things done
They need proper training to read the equipment, some police departments don’t have the equipment or training to do what AWP does.
Police departments cant properly train their cadets and normal officers, what do you think will happen with police divers? They’ll probably drown
Just a comment on the last interview with the family, I think it’s more likely that it was a car crash and she got stuck in the water. I don’t think it’s murder off the bat
Tells you how useless Arkansas police are
They have better search gear, all our funds are for high tech militarization purposes so we can “protect” the people.
*Police don’t have the manpower to direct resources from one place to another. who do you think go out and look for missing people? the same police that are answering peoples call to come help them in the city.*
Whom Can We Trust If No One Is Trustworthy?
One of my favorite quips from Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is when Tom is defined as “a glittering hero…the pet of the old, the envy of the young,” and there were “some that believed that he would be President, yet, if he escaped hanging.” With these few words, Twain captured the essence of leadership in our world. Those who get to the top are the fiercest, most determined, and most ruthless. Today, the latter quality has become so intense that we can no longer believe our leaders, and certainly not trust them to have our best interest in mind.
I am not accusing any leader in particular, or even leaders as a whole. It is simply that in an egoistic world, where people vie to topple one another on their way to the top, the one at the top is clearly the one who trampled over and knocked down more people than anyone else. Concisely, to get to the top in an egoistic world you have to be the biggest egoist.
So how do we know whom to trust? We don’t know and we cannot know. All we know is that we are in the dark.
In a culture of unhinged selfishness, any conspiracy theory seems reasonable, while truth is nowhere to be found. When every person who says or writes something is trying to promote some hidden agenda, you have no way of knowing who is right, what really happened, or if anything happened at all.
The only way to get some clarity in the news and goodwill from our leaders is to say “Enough!” to our current system and build something entirely independent. The guiding principle of such a system should be “information only,” no commentary. Commentary means that information has already been skewed. Information means saying only what happened, as much as possible, not why, and not who is to blame and who we should praise.
Concurrently, we must begin a comprehensive process of self-teaching. We have to know not only what is happening, but why we skew and distort everything. In other words, we have to know about human nature and how it inherently presents matters according to its own subjective view, which caters to one’s own interest. To “clear” ourselves from that deformity, we must learn how to rise above our personal interest and develop an equally favorable attitude toward others. This is our only guarantee that our interpretation of things will be even and correct.
Once we achieve such an attitude, we will discover that the bad things we see in our world reflect our own, internal wickedness. Our ill-will toward others creates a world where ill-will governs, and so the world is filled with wickedness and cruelty. Therefore, all we need in order to create positive leadership—and to generally eliminate ill-will from the world—is to generate goodwill within us. When we nurture goodwill toward others, we will fill the world with goodwill. As a result, the world will fill with kindness and compassion. By changing ourselves, we will create a world that is opposite from the world we have created through our desires to govern, patronize, and often destroy other people.
RIP my sister 😢 💔
Marianna Arkansas. Not Kansas. Do your diligence next time NBC.
It looks like the police need a major overhaul, all the way around. They can spend money on weapons, and armored trucks ect. ect. Pay scuba steve, and his wonderful team to get things done.
HA.. Now tell me more about that cute white girl that went missing. That was only in the ‘news’ for months.
Always an excuse for being inept !
These guys are awesome. Thank each and everyone of you. So sorry for Annie’s family and all who love her.
Cops are really bad at cop stuff.. like all the cop stuff.
They really didn’t have to say black
This great news, at the same time this questions my confidence in law enforcement to do their jobs.
Are states and federal districts using metrics to evaluate the performance of each officer and tasks completed.
Honestly, I would rather hire this person than depend on law enforcement to solve a case.
Can your Family Doctor perform open-heart surgery?
Neither can your local cops…..if you catch my drift.
Anyone seeing this needs to follow and support theses dive groups they are doing amazing stuff!
God bless to the family
I’ll tell you why “Law enforcement” is a JOKE.
Honestly looks like a one-car accident to me. By the time they reported her missing was likely too late, and if it was just her well… We wished they would have taken my grandma’s license sooner than they did. She just became less alert as time went on, but she had a car and we could not tell her nothing. Don’t think we can blame the police in this instance.
Exactly, my family had to take my grandma’s car after she had a stroke behind the wheel, just can’t take the chance tbf. It’s not worth the 15 minute car ride to get her and drive her where ever she needs to be or even just send her an uber.
Yet they can spot the scent of MJ in your car from miles away. Go figure!
It escapes me how (with all the cancel culture and CRT going on) why the female newscaster felt the need to tell us she was a “black woman” … could’ve just said “62 yr old woman” … we don’t need to know what color her skin was
“The body of the 66 year old black woman” what’s the point of mention her race?
And how would they know the bones belong to a black person??
I’m glad she has been found. What I’m not happy about are the lame and insulting excuses given by law enforcement for not finding a person and for not solving criminal cases in their own jurisdiction. Every excuse they provide the family and the public is always characterized by the absence of some feature…
We’re in the year 2022, and with every passing year, police departments across the most powerful and wealthiest country on the planet, are rendering very ineffective.
And please don’t blame it on the police budget nor on the democrats and republicans trying to defund the police.
The only people who are actually defunding the blue guys are themselves with every lawsuit brought forth against them. Usually, because they infringe on other people’s civil rights, by using excessive force, for being racist, for their own ego trips, etc. Just one lawsuit pays out millions. Just one. Imagine that occurring on a daily basis across the country…
Money, that could otherwise be used for advanced police tools.
It certainly would make their investigations easier.
bet if she looked like Gabby Pe…. nvm
That Police department just needs to tell the truth, they weren’t interested enough to look for their relative! Who do they think they are fooling?
AWP does it again!!!
Love watching adventures with purpose. They have brought so much closure to so many families. They are a blessing and so humble. Police dept should back them up and even help them financialy. May God bless them keep them healthy and may they be blessed with the finances that they need to continue helping familys find their missing loved one.
“Baffled authorities”..they don’t even search these people prove it case after case
You people need to stop “raging” on the Cops – they Do Not have the equipment, the training, the experience, the staff, let alone the time to perform these tasks. It is what AWP and it´s network do 24/7 … they have the equipment, experience, expertise, and time.
How ironic civilans are solving crimes but cops apparently are doing a great job.
That tattoo is ridiculous but all of them are
They just lie about searching for you
Why say black women?
nice job
This same group of civilian divers have been easily solving tons of cold cases that police don’t do. I’ve seen them in the news’s numerous times.
Omg it look so real and true
Authorities are lazy. They just want to seat in their cars or offices.
Thank you courageous dive team. You truly are heroes. Prayers for this beautiful family. I’m so sorry that they lost their loved one.
GREAT JOB civilian divers! God bless them. I’m telling is great to see POLICE will work with them NOW. !👏👍😃🙏
Got to realize that AVP being a civilian group with private funding, they have no red
tape to drudge through to get updated equipment, and can go take time on looking
because they don’t have 100 or more other open cases they have to work on.
Yeah, we shouldn’t get stuck on putting the poor police down. Rather, just on singing the praises of these new fabulous civilian funded free divers.
If they put the security camera and Close the ram and save people life …
How awesome. Civilians pat the cops’ salaries & now they have to do their job too. What a country!
Just wow!
That dive team is doing important work. God bless them.
“identifying the vehicle of the 66 year old black woman”. Umm… Whether she was purple, green or rainbowed color she was a woman. Why the need to point out the obvious? If she had been white would they have said “66 year old white woman”? People really need to think before they speak.
These guys are awesome.
So how do they keep ending up underwater?
Adventure with purpose have top of the line equipment most municuple agencies can’t afford and they upgrade constantly. They use it daily, and are experts with it recognizing different vehicles in different waters and conditions that lesser trained personnel can’t match. They also have a internet community-engaged that does internet google image searches, to assist. They can call in related local dive teams for searches widening their search areas. They also can apply this knowledge of sonar and image in searches local authorities cannot match not having any other obligations to the community that authorities have. It is good for local law enforcement to see them as a resource, and to call them in early
