I totally disagree because he is going by the technology which itself is really not a head because America has stable coins and ripple and xrp a bunch of cryptocurrencies that are technologically equal and also more private. The thing about China’s digital currency, is yes people in China will use it because they have to, but people outside of China certainly do not trust China to keep their currency stable. If China’s fiat currency was not the de facto world currency what do you think is different about the digital currency. As far as that goes people dont even have confidence in the dollar currently but the trust it more then anything china puts out

@Dave Smith no you are misunderstanding what I’m saying is usdc is a stable coin and usdt is a stable coin xrp is not meant to be a stable coin but a bridge currency that carries in any kind of currency back and forth,however xrp can be used as a stable coin if the feds do a buyback and set the price… but the world doesnt want another USA controller currency orrrr a china controled currency.there is difference between cbdc and stable coin.
