China want to buy the Philippines for cheap. Do not sell out to China. Stay DEMOCRATIC Philippines FOR THE PHILIPINO PEOPLE
Lol
Yes, why sell the philippines to china for cheap when it can be given to the US for free? Long live the “bell of balangiga”
Sino naman ang nagsabi sa iyo na gustong bilhin ng china ang Pinas ..Self isip ka naman.
Isn’t it that the Duterte administration did not push through with some supposedly Chinese investment due to concern over west philipppine sea issue. Therefore the non continuity of chinese investment is due to peoples clamor to maintain distance with China. So whose fault that these investment promises did not push through?
When did USA say sorry to🇵🇭. Colonization, Wake up Filipino, we need to cooperate in our own Asia, Asia is the future… USA will decline
The gave other protectorates Citizenship, Statehood (Hawaii, Guam , Puerto Rico, ETC…). But not the Philippines. Yet, PHILIPPINES is the most strategic geographically. Big mistake. Bad mistake
Who would benefit most from peace and cooperation, the world’s largest exporter of goods or the world’s biggest seller of weapons?
@JULIAN NGUYEN . Yes your correct 💯.. its time nw.. we are asean neighbors. We must cooperate .. interms of political stability in our region.. nevermind western country.. especially american..
💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️
What else US can do beside instigating war in Europe, Middle East and Asia.???
You think russia and china never done such a thing? no ofcourse not they would never do something like that. what planet do you live on? you think this world is all sunshine and rainbows?
I’m proud to say I voted this early morning for leaders of integrity: Leni Robredo for president, Kiko Pangilinan for vice president, and the entire Tropang Angat + Colmenares, Labog, Zubiaga, and Mallillin. NO to thieves, murderers, and liars.
Lahat sinabi mo ay kakainin mo ninyo
@Matruska yeh mga talunan tapos di pa marunong magconcede yung kandidato nila para namang sila ang pinili ng majority 😂
I remember my professor in college, he proudly said that Asia is the future of the world. A change to the world order is inevitable.
The economic center of the world has already shifted to asia and that is with a big of China. China becoming the world leading economy is inevitable and they are actually the leader now in terms of PPP.
The Philippines should stop subjugating itself to the US and start working with China as its Southeast Asian neighbors has already done. Otherwise, it’ll be left behind by the new emerging nations (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, etc.) who is willing to work with China. It’s contemporaries (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia) has already left it behind.
Hi ccp bots
Jesus deliver me from evil
Resist and he will flee from you
Filipinos do not like Ch1na. If Marcos wants to make up for what his father did, he must do what the Pilipinos want — which is not to do business with Ch1na.
Everything is changing…
@Pilipinas Pilipinas Meroon at lahat alam ang door out!
@lifeafterdamage a new Earth is being born. We are entering a New Dimension. Believe.

GOODBYE PHILIPPINES. A FAILED DEMOCRACY, and SLIPPING away from CHRISTIAN VALUES. DEMOCRACY can only SUCCEED in an INFORMED and ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE. It’s BEST to VERIFY and COUNTERCHECK the FINAL ELECTION (FANTASTIC) RESULTS by whatever means. VOTE RECOUNT if need be. PEOPLE will only ACCEPT RESULTS beyond the SHADOW of any DOUBT. Well, ALL may not be LOST. Let’s WAIT & SEE. But just to share my 1 PESO IDEA. The C, D, E has SPOKEN whether through a WELL-CRAFTED PRODUCT of TRICKERY or an UPHEAVAL against the “ELITES” which they were MADE TO BELIEVE. The PEOPLE who VOTED for a BETTER PHILIPPINES still has the UPPER HAND and may not ALLOW themselves CAPTIVES or HOSTAGES of a “CULT” FOLLOWING. The PEOPLE who knows BETTER about what’s good for the PHILIPPINES, ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE of the COUNTRY’S HISTORY who will never CAPITULATE to any form of DECEPTION are the MOST PRODUCTIVE PEOPLE in the COUNTRY. They OWN BUSINESSES or otherwise possess HIGH-LEVEL skills. COLLECTIVELY, they PRODUCE the BIGGEST CHUNK of the PHILIPPINES’ GDP. TAXES paid to the GOVERNMENT is just a small portion of the WEALTH they CREATE for the COUNTRY. Therefore, they have the POWER to choose the kind of PEOPLE who will work for them – INTELLIGENT, ENLIGHTENED, SKILLED, UPRIGHT & TRUSTWORTHY. They have the POWER NOT to EMPLOY PEOPLE who are DEVOID or the REVERSAL of the QUALITIES mentioned. NOT EMPLOYABLE PEOPLE have WEAK and DANGEROUS THOUGHTS who have TENDENCIES of bringing DOWN BUSINESSES and ORGANIZATIONS. All put together, even by their SHEER NUMBERS be able to produce a MINISCULE portion of the more PRODUCTIVE sector. It’s UP to INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYERS to employ the necessary TECHNIQUES to WEED out such PEOPLE.
BBM MARCOS ❤
SARA DUTERTE 💚
Why should Marcos goes against China when China is closer while western criminals are very far away.
Filipinos have short memories. They deserve what they get! CORRUPTION (Marcos Style) will surely happen, again. Ah well….
I can’t believe it can be this good
Who are the real friends of the Phils, my grandma said after World War 11, millions of Filipinos died, Japan lost the war, but Uncle Sam gave most of their tech to Japan thus they became economically rich and prosperous, and what was given to the Phils, brain drain and second hand military hardware, corrupt politicians that led to poverty, that led to so many OFWs, some even going to Japan as housemaids and caregivers, wake up Pinoys🤭
I supported you.
I voted for you.
During the campaign, I was your champion.
But now that you (most likely) have won – I will hold you accountable.
During your presidency – from being your champion, I will now be your critic.
After the polarizing effects of the election – let’s all pray that we can put that all behind us. BBM, Leni – it doesn’t matter now – we all move forward for the benefit of our future and our country.
God bless us all.
Nah, any layman can conclude that you are not a supporter, typical LUTANG mentality
@delosreyes ramon interesting how there are some who took my comments as support for Leni (that I’m secretly a Leni supporter).
I really did vote for BBM.
Just goes to show that it doesn’t matter what you say, people will believe what they want to believe.
@mmrgratitudes respectfully, that is a matter of opinion.
If you are a Leni supporter, then having BBM as president is the end (too late).
If you want to give him a chance – then this is just the beginning and we will still have to see how he performs during his term.
🙂
@Salvatore San juan d fact that he has not been proclaimed nor even started a day in office and you already present to be a critic will really make anyone suspect your lineage. Even assuming for d sake of discussion, leni wins and u voted for her & issue dis same statememt makes any reader suspect you are not her supporter.
@delosreyes ramon How exactly did i criticize him?
I don’t understand what the animosity is about – I am simply stating that I supported him and voted for him – but this doesnt mean I will follow blindly.
Why there are comments about me being a Leni supporter is something I cant understand.
Let’s hope he makes the right decisions. Not very optimistic about his regime, but let’s see.
me too, this will be the real test of character. mainit sya sa mata ng mga tao especially the 30-40% who did not vote for him
From the very start his platform is about optimism, how can you expect to have a unity without concerte plan? Clearly you didn’t intensively research about him and how is he as a senstor. He can’t even defend his stand even his life depends on it.
Maybe he can get some ideas from TikTok 🤣🤣🤣
I agree, then again all the choices this election cycle were kinda meh. But let us respect our countrymens decision and reserve our judgement untill we see what he does. Or at least until he announces his cabinet.
leaning to China = becoming a province of China
becoming a province of China = becoming an enemy of the United States
becoming enemy of the United States = permanent destruction of the Philippines
CHINA & PHIL FRIENDSHIP WILL BE STRONGER NOW. PEACE IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAH NICE BULLSHIT
You have a really messed up definition of friendship 😒
@A C who bankrupted who?
@Ryan Aristotle Ongjoco South China Sea. But you are welcome to swim in it 🫠
@mmrgratitudes you were colonized. Not by the Chinese
Nako dindo napag aalaman na kung ano h kulay mo. Kumandidato ka next time
THE FAMILY MARCOS ARE GOOD LIES CORRUPT IN THR PHILIPPINES
US and state media always talks bad about china, china, china they just cannot admit that they don’t want any competition. they want to stop OBOR and nordstream2. so they turn into subversion and proxy wars in many countries around the world
It is clear that Filipinos know about America’s propaganda and the color revolutions they incite and support all over the world. The double standards in human rights practices are seen only as a tool to split public opinion thus create a climate of mistrust and chaos. Thumbs up to Filipino brothers who went out to cast their votes.
America is in a downward spiral and is out looking for wars to engage in. Leaning on America will only bring the Philippines down with US. Philippines will be dragged into a war that will benefit only the US. The Russia Ukraine war has devastated EU economies including Australia. Filipinos need to distance themselves from America because Filipinos do NOT need a war to fight in.
Peace can be done through negotiation that the only way to solve the problems
I doubt it. hope im wrong.. once more business is brought in by china then we will know if he shifted away.
CHINA can make you rich US can offer protection. play both sides .that is the right thing to do
That’s a very short-term way of thinking. You can’t be beholden to both parties.
Chinese is here since forever yet mahirap pa rin bansa kasi magugulang mrami sa knila.
The guest is very biased! He is bad loser!
real friends, you mean Western monopolar hegemony. You gotta be joking!
An independent policy does not invalidate any a US- fILFRIENDSHIP. The Philippines as a sovereign nation should be allowed to decide based on what is most beneficial to its interests.
But you cant do that with corrupt leadership
People never goes wrong.
Marcos is most likely to shift to China not after what US did. Filipino’s knows what US and CIA did. Same situation in Ukraine. Faking revolution for their own gain.
Well, siding with the West for more than 3 decades also brought us almost nothing. So we have to be more practical.
Are you crazy BPO companies from America contributed alot in our economy.
What brings us nothing is our failure as a country to actually even try to develop new industries and sources of economic gain.
@Nicco Salonga exactly this.
He is on point!
I think it’s 5 out of 10 wants to confront china
Bakit?ang harsh mag-comment nang mga BbM supporters..??
The majority of the Filipinos prefered bread n butter than geo politics . It was a signal to USA that SEA does not encourage the USA presence in this region .
Wag ng hayaan pa n maki alam ang amerika sa politika para di n maulit ang edsa rebuloksyun
I’m a foreigner living here in the Philippines and I hear many times how much Marcos Sr did for the poor. That he gave lots of poor people land and they were a lot better off. I hear many, many people talking like this. Maybe this is one of the reasons why BBM got the vote? What do you think?
I cant really say for certain, many voters including myself were not born during the marcos dictatorship. And we have all been bombarded by information pro and anti that it is difficult for many to know what was true and what isnt true save for the ones that lived through it.
I did not vote for BBM but i respect the electoral system enough to save my judgement untill i see what he does. I hope he can live up to his promises as at the end of the day its the people and our futures that are important and any leader that can nake our lives better is a good leader in my eyes.
@Dj Bandalan research mo Marcos infrastructures and other achievements sa goggle dun mo malalaman until now nakikinabang pa rin tayo sa mga nagawa nia during his leadership.
Expect BBM to continue the signature platform of hia father, reasomable cost of.electricity, support for farmers, mass housing, peace and order, and modern infrastructure. Expect a rebranding of the Philippines in the global stage and GMRC will be back in schools. All the best to BbM and Sara
@Sacmar CelaI know the public infrstructure works made by his father are still in use now. To be honest naguluhan ako dala ng bombardment ng info pro and anti na hindi ko na tlga alam marami nagsabingoods si Marcos Sr. Ang dami nmn nagsasabi hindi.
@Dj Bandalan I understand you believe me. ganyan din ako dati. the point is masyado nilang siniraan si Marcos to the point na parang wala siang nagawang mabuti sa bansa and it’s so unfair ksi wala pang pres dito sa pinas na nkapantay sa nagawa niang kabutihan sa ating bansa so far. oo sure me mga pagkakmali sia walang perpektong pamunuan kahit saan unless sa langit , dahil ang perpektong Dios ang namumuno. marami living witness ngaun na nabuhay noon like me na mgpapatunay na mas mapayapa at mas magaan ang buhay nun I just realized it when I compared it after edsa.sad to say nabrainwashed din ako ng media then comes the internet dun na naglabasan kung sino ang nagkakalat ng tutuong disinformation.kaya marami nang nagising na brainwashed na katulad ko.
What a level-headed and realistic answer. The Philippines needs to grow up and, and stand up for itself. The sad part is, Marcos probably doesn’t care. He’s probably going to make friends with China, because they’ll makes his family richer. Same old same old for the Philippines 🤷♀️
@mmrgratitudes agreed, i’ll save my judgements lang until insee what he does. Corruption is already rampant in our country but i feel its cultural na at this point. BBM needs to walk the talk and we as a people also need to realozize that we need to change as well. Nakakapagod na ksi ung hostility on all sides. Many of us are so hell bent on defending our chosen candidate that we stopped treating each other as people especially online. We definately deserve better but we also need to become better people. Stop the hate, its us vs bad government practices, not us agaisnt each other is really all i wanna say.
Are you sure of what you have said, did you read his mind,
Psst! Tama ang direksyon ng tingin ni BBM kung sa China at Asia siya nakatingin. Di mo siguro napansin pero ang pinakamalaking trading nation ay China, it trades with the most nations and is the biggest trade partner with most of these nations.
@tuks kano Psst… watch the video again. Try to learn something 😵💫
@mmrgratitudes Pssst! Read more and learn. i suggest geopolitics.
Political analyst that has no credibility he is a yellow tards opposition
US and Philippines has a mutual defense treaty since 1951, but when Philippines try to buy arms in the State they sold second hand armory but sold neighbor countries new ones. When Duterte tried to buy new helicopters with missiles to end insurgency in the Philippines, 1 or 2 US senator opposed it. Insurgency is one of the reason Philippines is not going in the right direction because the NPA(insurgent) infiltrate the government too. Now Filipinos wants to stop this 50 years terrorism.
Dyak naawatan. I love BBM i love Duterte. We love china.
To make things clear, I don’t think Marcos is leaning toward China. What Marcos is doing is opening a door for a better relationship with other countries like China, and Russia, among others.
Careful how you open these Doors, dont forget what the ccp is
@Ronnie Don’t worry, Marcos is not dumb.
@mar antonio we won’t. As long as there’s food there will be no revolt. Like Rome’s breads and circuses.
@Larac Algadipe must be why Marcos borrowed heavily from the IMF, World War, etc stop believing that łukaret Imelda 😂
@yootoober2009 Due diligence.
Did any country in the West build any infrastructures and military hardwares in the Philippines free of charge like China or Japan or South Korea or Australia? Just saying. China is now one of the top 5 economic power and pretty soon it will be number one. The West should up their game if they want to succeed in the Philippines.
Go here in the Philippines so we can gladly slap the reasons on your faces why Ferdinand Marcos Jr. won the election, both left and right cheeks.☺️
If you want to win, focus on your goals. Get rid off the obstacles and look forward in aiming for the prize in marathon. As simple as that and anyone of us can apply this in real life.
If these people around you have issues especially the legal issues of the past, bring it on court up to the highest court. File a case, that’s it. Let the rule of law prevail.
Call the person duwag, magnanakaw, any names you etc. These people, considered as obstacles, will just be ignored. It’s a waste of time and energy to argue with these people who are hurdles of your goals and achievement.
Was it effective for the past months? Yes.
Simple life hacks.
TikTok logic 👏👏👏
@mmrgratitudes Receipt please.
So many negativity here❤️♥️💚💚😊
Thank God for the internet, everyone has a voice via web! unlike before in the 80s, mainstream media are the only source of Lies…..i mean news.
Stop your BS. most Pilipinos are awake and much smarter now to your bias propaganda!
We have already seen what Chinese investment has brought in. Employment for mostly Chinese workers. Has there been any transfer of technology yet? Shouldn’t we be employing more Filipino workers in these projects? There’s also the threat if we fail to meet the repayment of debt. Other nations caught in the Belt and Road debt traps are already suffering the consequences.
You don’t know about the country’s Economic Fundamentals and Economic Science as a whole, so don’t spread your ignorance here.
You didn’t see the filipino workforce working on those projects? It’s a compromise, your demand of filipino labor is directly proportional to the cost and completion of the project. If I were the foreign contractor and I won the project for a given amount, I would want to use my own men to be efficient and fast to finish the project on time and within budget. I will just hire locals for labor and supervision that will not impact on the project in terms of cost and completion date. transfer of technology is the same, it depends on what agreement is there in the contract. Building of bridges really is no secret, we know how to build bridges, we just don’t have the machines and equipments to build them faster and cheaper.
As to debt traps, this just came out to badmouth the BRI of China because the US has no equivalent program whatsover that will compete with it.
Philippine trade with China and Hong Kong combined is US18 billion. What are you saying that it did not benefit our country?
Obviously, anti-China yung analyst kuno!
Fix the mess you made in Ukraine first before worrying about the Philippines
It’s your own agenda you are pushing for not ours
170 Bank moredan one million gold..to start to claim..him..

US democratic values means invading another country rich with oil.
Nope, we should stay friends with China to avoid becoming a proxy war for US against its competitor.
NO TO US
I like the interviewees that CNBC is picking. Very professional and level-headed (although I’m a bit surprised since CNBC’s parent NBC usually is more liberal). Hope we can get more of this and not the biased far leaning left interviews that are so obvious like CNN and Bloomberg who are so negatively critical of anything Duterte and BBM.
This is Asian division based in HK 🇭🇰 or SG 🇸🇬
Yes he should learn from duterte.. “pivot for nothing”
Small brain peo ple …voted for yellow este pinky ….duped for 30 years.,.,,.,
The Americans have failed the Philippines. You will use us again because of our strategic geopolitical position.
The mainstream and western media are saying that Marcos won because of massive disinformation on social media… Let’s fact-check…
1. Facebook Philippines is controlled by an organization (Rappler) owned by an anti-Marcos libel convict so where is Marcos’ power on Facebook?
2. The mainstream and western media have been blasting Marcos for decades with their “son of dictator” narrative so why they are complaining when they have total control of the platform?
3. Is posting Marcos Sr’s achievements like the “built infrastructure” on social media fake news and disinformation?
4. Saying Marcos won because of disinformation is a big insult to the 30+ million Filipinos who voted for him… A third of these voters don’t even know how to use Facebook and Twitter and can’t afford data, especially those in rural areas..
5. There is no money for the opportunist media if they chose to side with Marcos of course, foreign media will not buy their rubbish articles.
6. The people of the Philippines know better than these opportunistic and biased media that do nothing but create controversy just to keep their business afloat. The media is the most corrupt organization next to politics. Proof? No media sided with 30 million voters..
7. Marcos winning is a testament that people are more powerful than the US-funded mainstream media… Their decades-long effort to stop Marcos from returning to power failed miserably.
Losers always find ways to make excuses…
BBM is in a momentous position in the history of the Philippines. The Philippines is a country within a region with more than half of the world’s population and next door to China, the world’s second largest (soon-to-be largest) economy. As its new president , BBM is presented with both challenges and opportunities.
BBM would be good for the Philippines if he could execute an effective poverty eradication program. No president before could do this. With an overwhelming electoral support, BBM has a strong mandate. Firstly, achieving the much vaunted infrastructure development of the Philippines would spearhead and accelerate development. Secondly, enabling FDI from overseas , especially willling Chinese capital, would boost unprecedented development.
Of course, BBM would face obstacles like the endemic corruption and the systemic weakness of its economy. BBM would have to keep at bay inter meddling from USA, in its hegemonic ambitions, as it would inevitably try to steer the Philippines away from the influence of China.
The best course for the Philippines is to pursue neutrality, bolstered by its membership of the Association of South East Asian Nations. But the Filipino ship would be buffeted by storms arriving from American shores.
An extra ordinary victory for Marcos! the voice of the people is the voice of GOD!!!❤❤❤
There’s no such thing as real friends in geopolitics just interests so as long as we the Filipino people benefit something in such relationships thats fine with me
We have no eternal allies only eternal interests
Duterte and now Marcos who are pro Communist China supporters will ensure the Phillipines will soon be controlled by Communist China!
Just like the US I guess.
You are talking to the wrong people regarding the attitude of Filipinos on China.
The US is not happy because they don’t want Philippines to be more friendly towards China.
This guy Manhit is an American lackey and his American-backed candidate Leni Robredo losed so badly in last Monday’s Presidential elections to the son of the former Philippine president Marcos.
8 or 10 Filipinos? I hope they actually pay taxes. or they enlist in the military. Easily said than done considering that in order to enforce anything now a days, you need a comparable strong military and economy to back it up.
US-NATO have messed-up Europe, and now they also focusing to messed-up South East Asian Nation and the Pacific especially the Philippines, to fund groups by means of National Endowment for Democracy NED-CIA starting with Nobel Prized winner Maria Ressa of Rappler, the EDSA Color Progressive Groups, and the compromising Bourgeois Academe Led Leftist Groups. They will advocate to continue spreading lies to weakened the newly presumed President and the country as a whole, so it could easily be threatened by economic sanctions and blockade and to maintain the interest of US Imperialism that holds the unipolar Global Rules-Based Order.
So what????The people Solomon Islands are also hate 🇨🇳 to their bones 👈…but now see ..what the situation there……NOW 🇮🇳 SHOULD THINK ABOUT IT’S STANDS ON PHILIPPINES AGAIN….. ACCORDING TO THEIR STANDS ON 🇨🇳👈..
🙏🇮🇳
Let us promote peace and unity between China and the Philippines. For good governance and industrialization.
Mabuhay ang bagong presidente ng Pilipinas! Mabuhay!!!
(Long live the new president of the Philippines! Long live!!!)❤💚🇨🇳🇵🇭
Dictator’s support dictator’s. I predict, the Philippines will lose its democracy under Marcos Jr., And become a Chinese colony
Opportunities in my opinion.
Marcos is the journey to be lead the country…PRRD and China has good friendship..share values etc.
exactly ! The interest of the people at the end of the day…not the BS of others… yes.BBM will continue the build3x of the PRRD..
And more…so happy…my country totally will rise 2022 🇵🇭👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻congratulations ❤️✌🏼👁
Your opinion is wrong. I ‘m Pilipino, I prepare closeer to China than the Western countries. China is our naighbor and we want Good and loving naighbor.. We don’t want countries controlling our minds. We are independent and want the best for us Pilipino and our country we hate countries that love Sanctions and interfere in our domestic problems..
