Heavy rain in Bangladesh has unleashed devastating floods and landslides, leaving an estimated four million people stranded.
It is the start of monsoon season in the region, which lasts until October.
Bangladesh and eastern India are regularly affected by floods, but experts say climate change is making it worse and it is the poorest communities that are hit the hardest.

According to recorded history, this happens every year and has been happening for many THOUSANDS of years before humans started using car, train and factory’s.
So unfortunately for this expert, this is not happening because of climate change.

Climate change is bad but climate of south asia itself is very good. Every season is equally represented. Monsoon lasts for many months and there’s lots of rain after extreme summer. We’re not dry like arabs neither all round cold like russians. We also have spring for three months.
Depends on the circumstances. Like pretty much every other country, really. And btw, this isn’t going to be limited to just S. Asia. You saw places like Germany being flooded recently, right? I got a shock too. Never seen anything like it. Climate change is a global issue and it’s catching up with us faster than we seem willing or able to face it head on.

For the past decade we are hit by huge Hurricanes 2 or 3 times every 1 or 2 yrs . Before that only a couple in one Decade . Rainfall and huge flooding is also increasing . Before we used to have only 4 months of rain per year but now over 7 months . Other natural disasters like Earthquake , drought also affects us . So Humans are the real contributers of what is happening around the World .
