Rising inflation in Sierra Leone is pushing many families into extreme poverty and on to the streets.
On Wednesday, anti-government protests turned violent, leading to the death of 27 people, including six police officers.

Central Bank of Sierra Leon should act to stabilize economy
Everything reeks inflation in the economy…. I don’t know who, however a person desires to pay attention to this, you have to stop relying on the government and saving all of your money. Venture into making an investment a few in case you actually want monetary freedom

Every country globally is facing the same issues. The issue of the rising Cost of Food for Sierra Leone is due to a lack of production and much more due to the excessive import of all basic food products. requesting for the president to resign was just absurd. it would cost a lot but the Government should subsidies most imported food products.
You’re not smart. It’s a stupid policy for govt. to subsidize food imports at the expense of local production and jobs.

For some fact about Sierra leone. 70% of Jobs or employment comes from government. 80% of Food are imported. High cost also result in huge tax rate on these product Sir. Subsidies could be by dropping tax or totalling removing it Sir. There are other ways to go. But to cushion the effect temporarily these my stupid opinion. There is so much I have thought about that I didnt include. But let find solutions together Sir.
@Iro Kpe Also its not Nigeria. It Sierra leone with a population of 7 million and a revenue of less than 500 million dollars yearly Sir. Yes it stupid at the expense of local production which in a sense doesn’t cover 5% of the population demands. Sometimes an unconventional method most be used.

The sad thing about inflation is that even when you get it under control the damage is done and those prices never go back down. This is apparently the best time to use good experts as the whole market would remain unpredictable.
If you want to be a successful investor, just control your emotions in both type of the market.
