The war monger general – is a barking dog that’s attacking Biden’s opponents in the hope he can secure a lucrative staff position. The fact that some Republicans are questioning the sanity of: risking World War III over a corrupt shit hole as is Ukraine – and – borrowing money from China to pay the military industrial complex to give Ukraine billions of dollars that should instead be spent on things our own taxpayers need – should confuse no rational person. The US taxpayer is tired of being the world’s policeman – sending their youth to die and the treasury to be looted. This is one reason they hated Trump so much – he didn’t create any new wars whilst he was in office. And even though he rebuilt the military – that wasn’t enough to satisfy their lust for death and destruction. You can bet your azz all the commenters here sucking up to the war monger would be running for the exits if asked to join the next conflict or send their sons and daughters into battle…I also wonder how many personal checks they have written to fund the war in Ukraine….finally it’s one thing to squander blood and treasury in A 3rd world country like Afghanistan- it is quite another to boast about sinking the fleet of a country with 7,000 nukes. Given his proposal of retaliation – who is the fool now – Republican’s that say let’s be careful here – or – Dr Strangelove saying let’s escalate and risk nuclear war when the USA is NOT being attacked?
General Hodges really gets it. Our relationships with democracies are really what matter. Europe, the Commonwealth countries, South Korea, Japan and others. That’s what we need to build on.
It’s the privilege of having the Global Currency and that we have the military to back it up so yes we can spend the the money to back up Europe or whatever we see fit.
If this continues for another year (and I doubt it will). Russia is likely to completely collapse. Putin will not survive. Russia will fall into financial and social chaos. It’s already happening. Ukraine will likely exterminate another 50,000-100,000 Russians. Their public will not stand for it nor can they afford it with their Rubles.

Ben Hodges called what was gonna happen from day one. I don’t think he thought it would happen so fast but he called it on point. Out his rep at stake by calling it but he hit it on the mark.
Why was it decided to conduct such an important interview in what appeared to be such an inappropriate place? The location undermined the message, but Former General Hodge’s assessment cut through the noise.

As a European, citizen of a former communist country under the influence of soviet Moscow, with lived history of all that shit that happened to my country and people living here in the 20th century, I want to thank every US citizen who supports your government in the decision to fully support Ukraine. This is much more important for the future of the free world than many people (even in my own country) can realise.

The war in Ukraine is a real demonstration of the effectiveness of American weaponry. The arms manufacturers in the USA will probably have their order books full for years to come after this conflict. The profits for this increase in demand will eventually reap huge rewards for American industry. The opponents to this funding need to realise that this is a win win situation for them. The Americans are not only helping to defend democracy against the onslaught of an evil tyranny, but they will ultimately make money out of it.

I have appreciated the General’s insights into the Russia/Ukraine war, but now he seems to be veering toward his personal political preferences in support of the Democrat party in American politics. Hearing his gratuitous, seemingly ad hoc remarks about many Republicans in congress being the “most vocal, loud mouthed supporters of what the Kremlin is doing”, I suddenly have to draw back and reassess my previous view of him as being a straight-shooter.
As I understand it a majority of Republicans in the House and Senate have consistently voted in favor of all aid packages to Ukraine.
Additionally, I am not aware of any Republicans in congress supporting “what the Kremlin is doing”. This kind of talk sounds more like divisive partisan politics rather than an attempt to honestly educate listeners about the Russia/Ukraine war. In the future, I will remember
that what General Hodges says during his interviews might be driven by a political agenda.

I want you to go back and interview them when this “irreversible” momentum proves to go basically no further – AND make sure they tell you how Ukraine is going to survive when Russia has twice the army built up by winter.
