Despite a leadership change in July, Sri Lankans are still dealing with long food and gas queues after months of protests over shortages. And amid the ongoing economic and political uncertainty, human rights groups have criticised President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s government for continuing to keep protest leaders in jail.

I am not interested in politics because it’s dirty, the word Debt Trap was started by American and millions to promote same as weapons of mass destruction, why it’s purely against China
out of the total Sri Lankan debt only about less than 11% owe to China majority of them owes IMF as well as American private lenders,
the leaders could be corrupt no country begged to lend, for the port Sri Lankan first asked Canada then USA both rejected after couple of years they requested China and they agreed
build the port with a good business intension didn’t work now leased do have a port
ASk your self since 1950 we borrowed from IMF what happened they fooled Sri Lanka
by giving rice flour etc

in romania they invest now 1b euro from maintainance funds from eu , in schools and kindergarden , 300m in technology , 600m in accesorys and lab tech , something like that , some guy bought with 150k clothing machines from japan that can work with silk and kashmir that do clothing like in pc , robots , and does clothing for victoria beckam , also with eu funds , and u would still say why a country would join eu. u can’t do nothing with no money.
