Ethiopian Airlines have resumed flights to northern Tigray, reuniting loved ones – after 18 months of conflict.
The route from Addis Ababa to Mekelle was suspended, during the conflict between government forces and Tigrayan rebels – who signed a ceasefire in November.

A Referendum proposals was given to the British mandate in Ogaden Basin during 1945 bye Somali Elders and Politician. The British did in 1946 and the result was Overwhelming that Citizens wanted to join Greater Somalia. However, what British did was Conspiracy and Betrayal to the People, they Concealed that Vote had parallel Negotiations with Empire Hallesasie and Secede the Land to Eithiopia. So what we were Saying for So many years let the people decide, have UN monitor and International observers. Believe me No Somali want to live under Occupation, we Confident overwhelmingly they want Greater Somalia. If you think Eithiopia think of Apartheid. No one wanna Live an Oppressive state. If an ethiopian somali wants to be a president / prime minister of Ethiopia, the doors are wide open. In fact, many of us will be happy to see that. colonisation and occupation are two different things , Italy managed to occupy Addis Ababa for 5 years but the people resisted and fought the Italian occupation for the 5 years for that matter Italy failed to controll and colonise Ethiopia
