Ukraine’s Russian-held Nova Kakhovka dam has been damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces, Russian news agencies report, citing emergency services.
Kyiv is facing possible blackouts and cuts to its water supply and heating network caused by Russian strikes on the power grid, Mayor Vitali Klitschko says.
The power shortages come as both sides have been trading accusations over the Russian-held Nova Kakhovka dam.

without destroying their dam infrastructure. During the russian retreat, the russians have been blowing out all the bridges from the west side of the river to prevent Ukrainian pursuit. The dam damaging explosion appears to be one of these. But if the dam breaks down, most of the flooding
will drown out the lowlands on the east side of the river right where russians had been
building new defensive positions, and a water canal feeding crimea will be compromised. if they wind up retreating to Crimea, they may have to drink sea water once they arrive. brutal clowns.
