I do not understand why they never prepared for this. They had major warning. Anyone who lives in a cyclone knows what a cyclone kit is. Why did they not do this?
@CharNicole I live in north Queensland where Cyclone Season happens from Nov to April every hear. We always watch the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and have a cyclone kit every year. Just normal for us.

Maybe with climate change this is the new normal, My only point was this was warned way ahead from landfall and if people were told to prepare then please do so. I do not want to see people hurt or die from these storms.
