French director Justine Triet took the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival for her courtroom drama ‘Anatomy of a Fall’.
It caps off a strong year for female directors, with a record seven of the 21 movies directed by women.

Women win all the prizes because men have been kicked out😢
Cannes more interesting (to me at least) than the Oscars. And thank God there are other very relevant award ceremonies, America always wants to have the centre of gravity but that’s just to maintain hegemony , it’s not about merit.
