Gas prices continue to be a pain point for American travelers ahead of the Labor Day Weekend, sitting at a national average of $3.81 per gallon. AAA Northeast Senior Manager Robert Sinclair Jr. sits down with Yahoo Finance Live to discuss how inflation and gas prices are weathering on families’ travel budgets. “The concession that’s being made is the distance that’s being traveled,” Sinclair Jr. says. “We did a local survey, and drivers told us their average trip is going to be 50 to 200 miles… I remember when it was 500 to 1,000 miles for a trip over a holiday weekend. So, they are cutting back in that regard.” Sinclair Jr. outlines his outlook for gas prices amid OPEC’s oil production cuts and the seasonal trends surrounding oil refining and the effects of hurricane season.

Let’s Go Brandon
To beat the Big Oil gasoline price gouging, buy an EV.
@Michael Josef gaining jobs vs the first president in 100 years to have a net loss in jobs. GDP. Manufacturing. Shall I continue with Bidenomics? Let’s talk deficit spending? 8 trillion under Trump to destroy the economy. Same as Bush. Use the deficit to inflate the stagnation. The numbers don’t lie. Democrats are always the fiscally responsible. Hell Clinton balanced the budget.
@MikeNIdaho-ts5ff Oh so that’s why gas has been going up since he (sleepy joe) took office
Thanks for the false information
@MikeNIdaho-ts5ff Trump is the one who made oil cheaper and started drilling for oil in our home turf. Biden is now shutting down pumps and drills, which means we have to buy overpriced barrels from other countries.
Signing three bills into office within his first 3 days that killed the Industry 1. keystone pipeline not gonna finish now. 2. We are now getting more of our gas out side the USA and 3 stoping government funding and incentive for gas. Those aren’t the exact name of the bills or everything in it but this Sums it up What does a president have to do with fuel prices you might ask? Well, bush and obama did nothing. Trump on the other hand, gave the ok to get more oil from the gulf, and alaska. The US was producing more fuel than ever, and drove prices down. Now with biden shutting all that down, we are back to getting mostly terrorist oil again, and the prices shoot back up.
@MikeNIdaho-ts5ff Plus you never answered me how that russian collusion is going which shows That you were being lied to then and you are being lied to now Snap out of it, dude.
Trump cut a deal with OPEC & OPEC + to cut oil supply which helped cause prices to go up. Gas was close to $2 because OPEC & OPEC+ were flooding the market with oil. Trump cut the deal because oil companies were going bankrupt, had to help them make profits.@Michael Josef
bidenomic oil price inflation higher longer may be forever is here.
