In Lebanon, inflation is soaring and the economy is close to collapse.
As the cost of bread and other basics continues to climb, some people have had to start growing their own food.

Lebanon 🇱🇧 ❤️.
Look at them. What a joke of a country. The 3rd most indebted country in the world!!
And an Ethiopian is speaking? Just look at your own country, it’s certainly not better then Lebanon.
@Sofia Ethiopia is a rising power. Ethiopia is not erm! bankrupt!!
This will be something we all should do because there will be food shortages worldwide.
Big Cake Lebanese people don’t have 4-6 kids anymore. It’s mostly Syrians who are having a lot of kids. Can’t Poland export their contraceptives and family planning to countries with high fertility rate?
@Mounir Tachinardi you can always ask your daddy Iran? They have been taking good care of you, no?
Greg S Well, you don’t make any sence.
Greg S And You can Ask your daddy Israel, no worries.
@PraktiskPsykologi lol nice try. What amazing country are you from? Has Iran destroyed it too? How many more people need to starve in Iran?
Amazing
Lebanon was a beautiful thriving christian country many years ago. Then came the cult of intolerance.
Ur so stupid
Long ago there was no chaos in middle east then they discoverd oil and then western vultures came…rest is history!!
@Eagle King just a fact.
That’s absolutely correct Patsoexcelic. The Paris of the middle east until Hezbollah moved in
patssoxceltics lebanon is still the same it didn’t change it looks the same why are u saying Lebanon were not talking about how it looks we’re talking about the parliament
Nice breeze, sunny. Hope things get better for the people.

Shut up
Muller wants us to argue let him argue with himself and his demons
no we peaceful and nice
Wow! But there are a lot of dead bodies of African and Asian migrant workers buried in their soil as well. I hope the plants and fruit are able to grow properly with all that blood 😭
Welcome to racist Lebanon 🇱🇧 maybe if they pay their migrant workers properly their money will stop being useless 😢 maybe one of the black and Asian kids they bullied in school could have gotten them a good deal on their seeds 😭
Great
Please don’t laugh at others misery. Be kind and wish them good luck.
your doing the right thing. you can regrow from the seeds of the plants your harvesting. im doing it and so far its working. dont give up but we have to go back. regrow from the what you grow. harvest the seeds 🙂 chickens if you can and keep the green from the veggies for nutrients for the soil and collect leaves and scraps to put back into the soil. 🙂
Someone please teach all people on how to wear the proper mask. Covering also the nose!

Saudi has given Pakistan over 30 billion the last few years. Yet they can’t give a dime to Lebanon… because pakistanis follow wahhabisim and Lebanese don’t
I am Lebanese and I don’t think Pakistan follow wahabism. I think it’s better not to give Lebanon any more money cz politicians will steal and rob them.
@Ahmad Istanbouli ur crazy dude. Indian muslim and pakistan same ethnicity n stuff. Look at their clerics. Paksitani clerics always talk bad about my religion.. shias are more safe in india than Pakistan. I have seen dozens of shia bombings in paksitan but not 1 ever in india
G’day from a Lebanese born Australian. Lebanon has many problems and one of which is their propensity to think that manual labour is beneath them.
My great Grandfather had lots of land which he used to grow wheat and fruit and vegetables and that was his source of income.
In my numerous visits to Lebanon I was dismayed at seeing previously fertile and productive land left to the weeds and blackberry vines whilst grown men sat unemployed waiting for a dream visa, dream job or money from relatives in the west.
Lebanon must go back to its roots with silk production and feeding the Mediterranean, The Middle East and themselves with quality food.
There is no excuse, Lebanon’s weather and rainfall allows for high turnover food production, get off your arses and do it for yourselves instead of waiting for a handout.
You are right Keith !
And about the mafia so called zooama, I hope they all get killed but who put them there in the first place?? Poverty allowed them to buy people’s loyalty..the soul is cheap mate
@Keith Andreis Hi from an Indonesian here… I have experience visiting Lebanon and stay for 4months in Beirut…
I agree with you, many people I’ve met there spend something that unnecessary, like luxury car (yes Beirut luxury car collection can be comparable with Jeddah, KSA), having more than one maid in one small family while your income monthly doesn’t touch $6000 nett…In Indonesia, you can dream to have a Range Rover or Ferarri and a couple of maids if you can surpass the $10.000 per month income…that’s what I call realistic lifestyle…
Arif Nasfi I wish that was the prerequisite for having a maid. I know of families where the wife’s whole income goes to the maid, her clothes, food and medical costs and the costs for her to got to work so she can say that she has a maid.
It is arrogance and jealousy that drives this. Now this catastrophe that has hit Lebanon is terrible but needed. It will force the people to live within their means and return to a simpler way of life.
I’m not jealous, if you can afford it you can drive a Ferrari and have 10 maids but the majority can’t.
@Keith Andreis Yes..the key is buy when you really can afford and sustain your life normally (Including have some money to be kept in bank account)
Arif Nasfi some have millions in USD in the bank but they can’t access it because it’s been stolen by the thieving Bankers and Politicians.
One man I know has $4 million dollars and has nothing to eat. He has rabbits, shoots birds and grows vegetables to feed himself.
I am so happy that people in Lebanon appreciate God’s plants.🌺🌾🌼🌿🌹💐☀️🌸🌼🌎🌷❤️🕌
I still remember in 80’s so many vegetables in Saudi Arabia used to come from Lebanon. They were priced equal to European imports but much fresher. Every one used to call Beirut the Paris of the Middle East and Lebanese are very good people – lot of fun, beautiful
and great hosts. With all the problems, why food shortage? They should produce enough food at least for themselves.
Corruption and political tensions that led to a financial crisis combined with a pandemic.
Such a clickbait thumbnail

Kick out Iran you bums. Stop leaving and fight for your country. Shameful Lebanese.
to many countries are starving for food, the government is not doing enough, I guarantee the government is not starving for food, all about greed.
Land is the real riches NOT fiat money,,,,,go,,go plant food to survive
Kelon yaane kelon
Lebanon needs the most attention & help with the crisis going on with starvation & money .but no one still hasn’t helped.they got shortages on money and food.
