A prominent author and an opposition spokeswoman are among dozens arrested in Zimbabwe after police put a stop to anti-government protests.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa says the rallies are an “insurrection” by the opposition and banned them.

Similar thing the Indian government had done recently in the capital Delhi. They even went to the extent of later destroying & burning the property of innocent people to make it look like the protesters did it. And even went on arresting suspected protesters during the pandemic long after the protests.
Are you comparing the failed state of Zimbabwe to India (the fastest growing economy in the world and the only functioning democracy in the region)….in comparison China isn’t even a democracy, Pakistan, Bangladesh are Islamist military influenced regimes; the middle east is a giant sh!thole and Nepal was recently taken over by Maoist Communists from China….There are protests all the time in India, that’s one way how politicians gather votes…don’t spread fake news of any “destroying”, “looting”, “burning”of “innocent people” in the middle of one of the busiest densely populated cities of the world, New Delhi, which is a federal territory like Washington DC in the US..

Over time, probably some twenty years, give or take, she could see better fortunes.
