Azerbaijan-Armenia clashes over Nagorno-Karabakh escalate

Armenia and Azerbaijan have accused one another of firing into each other’s territory as the flare-up in fighting entered its third day. Their dispute centres on the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. In one incident, Armenia says Azeri ally Turkey shot down one of its fighter jets in its own air space, a claim Turkey denied.
