Satellite images reveal how Egypt tightened borders with Gaza

Satellite images taken between November 22 last year and January 15 this year and verified by Al Jazeera, show that the Egyptian authorities have been tightening the border security by the Gaza Strip by establishing several checkpoints. On November 23, the Egyptian authorities began to complete the construction of an old earthen berm parallel to the border, approximately 200 metres (219 yards) away from the separating border fence.
