Israeli forces have killed at least 27 people across Gaza since dawn on Sunday, including in an attack on a school sheltering displaced people west of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of at least four Palestinians. The escalating violence has overwhelmed al-Aqsa Hospital, worsening the dire medical conditions exacerbated by ongoing fuel and supply shortages. In northern Gaza, Israel’s military offensive in Shujayea has continued for a tenth day. The Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas has described fighting with Israeli forces as quote fierce. Israel’s army says its soldiers have found long-range rockets in the area, and demolished tunnel shafts. People sheltering in the Shujayea neighbourhood say the violence has ripped families apart.
