Canada: at least 10 people killed in multiple knife attacks

At least 10 people were killed and 15 wounded in multiple knife attacks in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Canadian police say knife attacks have happened in 13 locations across Saskatchewan. Uganda launches air and artillery raids against ADF in DRC

The Ugandan military has launched air and artillery raids against the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) armed group in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), in an operation agreed with Congolese forces. “This morning, we have launched joint air and artillery strikes against ADF camps with our Congolese allies,” a spokesperson for the Uganda People’s Defence Force said in a Twitter post on Tuesday. Haiti police blame US, Colombian suspects in president’s slaying

Police in Haiti say two Haitian Americans and more than 20 Colombians were behind the assassination of President Jovenel Moise. The Colombian government says early investigations suggest that some of the men involved were retired members of its military. Moise was shot dead during a raid at his home on Wednesday. Some of the suspects have been identified, but officials are still looking for at least eight others.
