Hundreds of patients and thousands of displaced people are in the Indonesian hospital compound. Israeli tanks have surrounded the facility and troops are reportedly shooting anyone who tries to leave. Indonesia has condemned the attack as a violation of international humanitarian law. The Scottish Parliament is due to debate a motion in support of UN calls for a ceasefire in Gaza and the creation of safe routes for medical aid and displaced people. An Israeli newspaper is reporting that an Israeli army helicopter may have fired on partygoers, at the dance festival attacked by Hamas fighters on October 7th.
