An Israeli newspaper is reporting that an Israeli army helicopter may have fired on partygoers, at the dance festival attacked by Hamas fighters on October 7th. More than 360 people were killed at the festival in Southern Israel. Haaretz quotes an unnamed police source, citing an investigation. Gun battles are continuing between Hamas fighters and Israeli forces in three main areas in southern Israel – at a kibbutz in Karmia and in the cities of Ashkelon and Sderot – with an Israeli army commander reportedly injured, according to Al Jazeera correspondents.
