Palestinians strike against planned demolitions in East Jerusalem

Israeli authorities are stepping up demolitions in occupied East Jerusalem after the cabinet announced punitive measures against Palestinians early this week. Palestinians in Jabel Mukaber closed streets and poured oil on the roads to stop Israeli forces from razing their homes. At least fifteen Palestinians were injured during confrontations. Peru protests: Boluarte government wins confidence vote
