War in Yemen: Houthis mark eight years since Saudi invasion

Thousands of Houthi supporters rallied in Yemen’s capital on Sunday to mark the eighth anniversary of the Saudi-led military intervention in the war. Houthi rebels ousted the government from Sanaa in late 2014, following years of instability. As a result of the conflict, the UN says hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, millions internally displaced, and two-thirds of the population are below the poverty line.
