Police and pro-impeachment protesters scuffled near the home of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, following his announcement that he would not resign over his failed attempt to impose martial law.
Thai police have fired water cannon, tear gas and rubber bullets at anti-government protesters in Bangkok. The crowds marched towards an army base that is home to the prime minister’s residence, demanding his resignation over what they say is his failure to handle the coronavirus pandemic.
