There were some arsonists being arrested in CA and Oregon fires. Many were actually reported as human caused. A few were caused by lightning. I pray for the safety of the people in CO and hope the fires will be contained quickly.

I used to live in the mountains outside of Boulder during the 80 and 90s – I remember one fire that hit the Sugarloaf area and destroyed about 100 “dream homes”…including one I had moved out of only weeks earlier. It was just heartbreaking; but it really IS one of the risks you take by living up in the high country. It’s REALLY beautiful but it gets SO tinder dry up there, trees become torches when a single spark hits them. If you want to live up there it’s really essential that you have a well maintained fire-breaks cleared around your property and you keep that dead-brush cleared- even then it’s no guarantee.

I am not sure what is going on in Colorado but I have not been surprised with California. With all the evil going on in Hollywood and CA not taking care of the homeless I can certainly understand why God’s wrath is upon them. If anything the the fires have been a warning to those that heed them to get out before the big one (earthquake) hits.
