Saudi Arabia has announced a plan to offer its rivals in Yemen’s long-running war a nationwide ceasefire under the auspices of the United Nations, the kingdom’s foreign minister said.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, the kingdom’s foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, said the ceasefire proposed to the Houthi rebels is envisioned “for the entire conflict”, including allowing for a major airport in Yemen’s rebel-held capital, Sanaa, to reopen.

It’s funny how the houthis don’t want to agree to the ceasefire, the Coalition were wrecking them in Hajjah governorate and broke the 6 year siege in Taiz and launched operations in Hudaydah and Counter-Attacks in Marib Region. Also, lots of the stockpiles of ballistic missiles have been recently destroyed in Sanaa and Sa’dah so maybe the houthis should agree to the ceasefire resolution or else they’ll just spill more of their own blood unnecessarily and prolong the suffering of yemenis in Northern Yemen.
