Researcher Alessandro Arduino says increasing uncertainty in the Middle East is bad for China.
So what? We can wait a longer time till it is stable.
US criminal
Iran we are going to de escalate going to war. Nuclear missile development, on the other hand, BIG TIME.
Arduino may be right about the potential for escalation. But, his ideas about China are absurd. No doubt China would like to have a route through Iran that was part of its connections across Eurasia. Quite possibly the recent events could encourage a longer term trend of more economic cooperation between Iran and China. But, China already has several routes that connect all the way to Western Europe. The primary ones go through Russia. Another one goes through Kazakhstan, across the Caspian Sea, through Georgia and Turkey, and through a tunnel into Europe. China benefits from American aggression against Iran and Russia. The spectacle of an American assassination of a top Iranian official and the unwelcome presence of American military forces in Iraq is going to make it very difficult for American politicians and American media to demonize China over its problems with Hong Kong and Central Asian minorities. American economic aggression against Russia and Iran forces those nations into more economic cooperation with China. The continued use of economic aggression and the failure of the United States to make any positive contributions to international economic development facilitates China’s long term goal of building a new world order based on international relations of mutual respect and mutual economic benefit.
US has successfully created Brexit and weaken EU with the refugees flooding they created.
Iran will help China to be an important factor in the middle east, exactly the same way Iran helped Russia to become an important factor there.
There are many hidden layers of Iranian potential the West doesn’t know of, which is very good.
