Nobody knows if Bitcoin will go up or down tomorrow – it’s just speculation. For me personally, I consider the money I invest to be my “Vegas Money” – meaning, I’m gambling it. If I win, then I win big. If I lose, then I’m not surprised and it was money that I could afford to lose. That’s why it’s important not to invest a significant portion of your money into it. Bitcoin is a form of digital currency that has gained popularity in the last few years. It is the first example of a growing category of money, known as cryptocurrency. Personally, I see bitcoin as a risky and volatile investment to make, as the government has yet to regulate it.
That being said, I do feel that there is a place in someone’s investment strategy for more risky investments that have the potential for a very high return or reward. Because of this, I have recently been investing in bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin.

You’re always on the cutting edge! lol I invested in bitcoin last year after spending a week learning about it. Since then I have learned a lot more about the space in general .My advice to newbies is buy and hold bitcoin. Don’t trade because you will lose money at some point. And realize that most ICOs are going to fail. if you’re going to invest in them, don’t put more than 20% of your portfolio. Great people to learn from in the space are Andreas Antonopoulos and Simon Dixon. (check out their videos on Youtube)

I agree that the best approach is to buy and HODL. Leave it, forget about it for 5 – 10 years, and see what comes out of it. I think 1 Bitcoin will eventually be worth a million US dollars.

Awesome content Stefan! Rather than day trading, I have invested in penny cryptos and select to buy at lower prices and sell at high, not risky at all. Also, mining contracts are a great source of very passive income. Thanks for the info!

Hey Stefan, I’ve heard that coinbase is only an exchange and not really a wallet. Although it allows you to store your bitcoins on there, are there other wallets you recommend?
