Don’t worry about it. This is China trying to bully other nations into submission. Taiwan is our military and political stronghold against China and the Pentagon will never give that up. If the President hesitates to defend an area as important as Taiwan the chief of staff or more would try to invoke the 25 amendment and force a person willing to go to war at the helm. We’ve been seeing Taiwan as both a nation and an ally for decades ever since it’s inception as a foreign nation. Taiwan needs us as much as we need them. If China were to actually invade, they would have to deal with both the updated and upgraded Taiwanese forces curtesy of the US, the US, British, French, German, Italian, Japanese, etc. forces. Basically all of the US’s main allies would have to by alliance treaty back the US and Taiwan up. Not to mention the west would cut ties with China immediately wrecking their economy. China is not stupid they are deviously smart. They know that direct military conflict would have too many cons in play rn. They are trying to politically bully and circumvent using bits and pieces of military propaganda. The moment one plane of theirs gets into sovereign airspace it will be shot down. I’m not an expert I will not claim to be, but for what I’m seeing this is my best educated guess as to what would happen.
There will be no American response. Biden was paid in advance by China for Taiwan.
