I live in Sacramento. It’s raining very hard and has been windy. But it’s not unusual. Like the only reason it’d Really flooded where I’m at is because of clogged storm drains. It’s the same level of storms we get in the winter…the only unusual thing is that it’s storming so early…
This bomb cyclone has happened before but not in October since the end of the 1800s so it is unusual but hopefully here in CA we won’t get a lot of rain followed by an ongoing dry year as last year it rained heavily for a few weeks throughout Winter than went bone dry

Northern CA just hasn’t gotten a break this year, with one disaster after another. Hopefully a large Earthquake won’t follow but all the Coastal CA cities are overdue for a catastrophic Earthquake yet they’re overpopulated regions
Their intentions are to wash away whatever remained standing after fires. The last 3 or 4 days they were doing a ton of aerosol spraying. Pure evil.

We had much bigger storms in the fifties and sixties, in 1969 we had 26 feet of snow in town, in Mammoth Lakes California, we were literally walking on the telephone lines. This last storm was a good one but not really all that big just a little early. Just hope it doesn’t stop raining until May
