Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was found guilty on four our of 11 federal fraud charges for exaggerating her company’s blood testing technology to investors and now faces up to 20 years in prison. NBC News’ Ben Popken and Danny Cevallos have the details.

Elizabeth Holmes Faces Up To 20 Years In Prison After Being Found Guilty
it’s interesting that she decided to become pregnant in the middle of all the turmoil. What do you think the judge will do? Her kid just rolled snake eyes having her as a parent.
An actress of enormous talent. She created the role, the look, the sound, the script and the “live” performance and hoped and gambled that she would find really extraordinary people along the way who could do the actual work and creative research and thinking. They would make her narrative, reality. Big gamble, very big loss. She was playing a leading role, so having the child in order to make the narrative more poignant and save her from long prison term repulsed many and added to her problems of misjudgment. Sociopathic crazy.

I can’t accept that she thought her devices would eventually work, when she knew there was problems with getting any proper results from blood samples. Instead of fixing the issue she fired and harassed employees. She should be stopped from creating or from managing a business.

Wrong it’s 20 years minimum for each count. She faces 80 years in prison should the judge decide to run her sentences consecutive. They will judge her case based on precedent. The last similar case was Kevin Merrill who only defrauded to the tune of 400 million. He’s serving 22 years in federal prison. Holmes at 700 million will be made an example of. She’s likely to spend more than 22 years. Please report facts independent of bias.

@NBC News There are so many things that could have been reported that weren’t. For example Holmes father-in-law, Bill Evans, tried to squirm his way into the trail as a “concerned citizen” referring himself to “Hanson” a car enthusiast from California. That’s a big deal. Why hasn’t anyone looked into this?
He was there to push a false narrative to the media.
His comment that echoes as news agencies report on the trial:
“No journalist has ever told the real story about her,” “Everyone is just copy and pasting each others’ stories without thinking.”
To that Evans is correct, but not in the way Evans meant. News agencies like NBC keep stating the same sentence independent of facts.
It is entirely plausible that the judge will impose a consecutive sentence to make an example out of her.
