I was absolutely disgusted when i hear they were about to euthanize him. We are meant to live with animals. Its a symbiotic relationship. Its we who are encroaching in their habitats. The very least we can do is to relocate them to a sanctuary if they pose a certain threat to us. Nowadays we do not cull white sharks that commit fatal attacks, its a thing of the past. We get into the ocean, the risk is on us, we took the risk. These animals should not be killed.

Bear must be bigger than 500lbs. I’m on the east coast and our ‘Tank’ black bears hit over 800lbs.

So three bears are suspects in large. Two male bears and one female bear. The bears might not agree with the gender pronouns.
we had them in our neighbourhoods too in Vancouver. They don’t all have garages there , so easy to get in garbage. Many are euthanized. 100% due to people being negligent. Saw 1 with several garbage bags it took to a backyard log that it went through, they are very gorgeous animals!

If you aren’t smart enough to know how to dispose of your garbage, and that includes anything that has an odor including cosmetics, in bear territory, don’t move there. It was the bears’ home long before humans decided to move in. Opposable thumbs and a gun doesn’t make humans smarter or better, they only make us different than wild animals.
Leave those bears alone, you enter & took their habitat. They are learning how to survival in their new environment with humanity, they have no other choice. The worst thing about this is you likely got him hook on high fructose corn syrup. He is huge, in an American way.
