They recognize someone who’s asset-rich but relatively cash-poor (aka over-leveraged) when they see them, and it’s the perfect exploitation victim. tRump has simply been forced to turn to the rich person’s version of, for example, paycheck and car title lenders or rent-to-own joints. Believe it or not, the traditional, mainstream banking model makes more profits when the clients they fund do well. They’ll take your collateral if you default but they’d truly rather you succeed. Then there’s lending that’s exploitational by design. When 3 or 4 hundred bucks is loaned against the title to a car worth 4 grand, taking the collateral is the goal.
Apparently they don’t know trump very well.
Axos can say goodbye to that 100 million.
