Bitcoin was never, is not now, and never will be a good investment.
The majority who invests in it hopes of getting their foot into the “get rich quick” scheme and it’s used less like an investing option and more like a gambling option. For the average Bitcoin investor is a young Joe-blow who knows little to nothing about trading and throws some money at it hoping it will “go to the moon” and they’ll make some money. Your average investor is NOT a finance manager looking to hold it there for 5+ years.
This, by design, means it’s destined to fail. You might get spikes of rises as people try to hop on board on the ride up. But then everyone sells, to cash out their earnings, leaning to big downs. This can never continue forever and eventually when people start to jump off the crashing train, others will join – along with others next to them and others near them, etc.
Can you make money on it? Yes. Have people made money on it? Yes.
But no real investor or anyone who actually cares about their money would ever put some serious money into it.

First point the whales would always manipulate bitcoin so hodling on for the future would definitely be a disappointment .
Learning from our mistakes is the best we can do. We’re still super early for crypto so learning is the most important thing.
Big thing I took away was the influence of big money in this market when the prior years was actually a trend based market. Traditionally the end of year was big green but with big money in play things changed.
That’s why i trade with Robin Moore’s trade signals, she’s Real; and sometimes the cold-shower i need on a occasion to keep me level-headed.
