Us don’t matter 3g 4g 5g .i never got any stable signal.it only benefit people live in city. I used T-Mobile and att but don’t make any different! Most time no signal or slow as hell less than 1mb per sec in 4g.
That’s because unlike most other developed countries. These US companies are allowed to bilk customers like you by misrepresenting and offering inferior services for high prices. Most of what ATT offers as LTE 4G, doesn’t even meet the international Spec. and at the very best is sub 3.5G to 3.9G EUTRAN level.

it is actually not a good thing, All current 5G they are pushing now is technically 4G +, Chinese government wants real 5G but now are forced to implement this version to support Huawei, this is not good for the country… this not only give USA time to catch up , and Huawei is been pressed so hard and probably stop at current progress…
@F Harrison That’s correct. Most 5G installations are technically partial 5G and currently non-standalone (NSA) co-existing with legacy 3G/4G cellular networks. There are also RF spectrum issues as well to be addressed in metropolitan areas.

Rural areas in US are still at this moment struggling to have access to 4G or basic internet. It will be another gigantic hurdle to cross to get 5G. Shutting out the less expensive Huawei will leave those poor rural people further behind! The rest of the world is progressing fast but the complacent Americans are too content to stop basking in the glory inherited from their previous generation. Time to wake up.
