Nova Scotia gets the worst hurricanes and blizzards. We live in the “perfect” location because most storms travel east or north east. So everything in North America eventually makes it way here if it survives long enough.
That’s because it is the “Maritime Museum” and as people in NS, NB and PEI will remind you, Newfoundland is not considered part of the maritimes, thus storms affecting that Province are not mentioned there.
