@Joseph Brewer Back in the Nixon era, William P Simon actually said ” giving poor people more money doesn’t help the economy. They just spend it on food and rent. They don’t invest it.” He also referred to laid off people as “worker units.”

Where is the stimulant check POTUS c’mon Man we need that too.
Even if they raise it, they raise rent subsidies and lessen food stamps for those on social security, so there is really no benefits to this for the recipients in these situations.
