They just got a subsidy to build a new plant in Ohio ….
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
This is a good example of why we should have never trusted them with CHIPS act funding. They are highly dysfunctional and knee jerk inside.
are they laying off in Ohio, before the plants are built? I really feel sorry for Ohio, falling for this Made0ff scheme, of a company, called Intel.
Intel’s selling Alchemist GPU at a lost. It’s selling Raptor Lake CPUs at 5 to 10% profit margins. Hard to generate dividends that way!
I was a part of the separation act in 2016. It’s very tough going from over 20 years of seniority to 0. There is life after Intel, but it could pay 1/3 less. I made it through but it was difficult.
Dam 20 years. What department were you in?
@random stuff various departments. Started in Fab 6, then Fab 12 and 22, then Fab 32 and went into a research and development department when I faced my last and final separation challenge. I feel I grew up there. I really feel for the people that are about to lose their jobs. I was there 24 years. They were the best company to work for in my book. But the layoffs are terrible.
life goes on,
i want to see all these tech nerds with over inflated salaries to cry
Hater.
