Great video as always and one thing I’ve heard you say before that you said again here is to the effect that it’s more effective to focus rather than dabble – especially in the building of a brand. That certainly makes sense. I’m struggling with creating ONE brand as an author of a book, ebook, and photographer, all of which I see as a related package. Just working it out on how to brand it as such!

Realize this is an older vid, but…. there is a box in your account dashboard prior to uploading to YT… (2 actually, but the bottom one, leave unchecked… that says to add a banner to beginning) The box says something like, “this video contains paid promotion” You should definitely CHECK THAT BOX. Again, not the one below it that would add an indicator to your video. Reason being… checking that first box does 2 things. 1) keeps it from being posted to ytkids (no biggie, who cares/doesn’t impact your views etc) 2nd….. why it should be checked…. It prevents ANY of competitors or conflict of interest, from placing AD’S ONTO your video. The beauty channels use/check that box if… speaking about say, Revlon’s latest lipstick. They wouldn’t want an ad showing up from Maybelline w/ their latest offering, so.. they’ll check that box & no makeup ad’s will be used in that video. Reason you should always check it off (esp if speaking of your courses, specialty, business, site etc) is…… As is, ALL the ad’s YT is showing…. are for competitors. The first… talking about audible & kindle publishing on Amazon. How much one can make, etc… by using their ‘audiobookmasterscourse.com’ training… =/ The next, another for amazon fulfillment….. another for a course in successful publishing of e-books… Look for that box to check-off when uploading here to YT, to keep focus on you & YOUR courses. 🙂 That said, unless paid promo or sponsorship, be sure NOT to check the 2nd box or it will place a banner during first few seconds, stating “….includes paid promotion”….. Leave bottom one un-checked, top one… def. checked off. Hope that helps. Stay safe & be well.
