@yes yes, they should give the citizens back the precious little freedom they still had, knowing that covid is never going away and it’s stupid to think it will.
@Cheri Smith I’m of the opinion they are doing that. The misconception is China is practicing “zero-covid” as in no covid allowed at all, but what’s really happening is they are easing the population into covid. Infection rates (being higher than anytime since covid started in China) as well as their policy changes reflect this. If your point is they should just open up completely to covid without the “easing” after never really having a “real” first wave due to their success in stopping covid in the past, then that’s a different point. Is that what you meant?
