In the United States of America when a person is charged with a crime that person has within the presumption of innocence and therefore are do the right to fight their criminal case from the streets. Showing up to court in front of a jury in jail garb is highly prejudicial to the defendant and should be avoided whenever possible. In my opinion we should do a deep dive into the political associations of this man and where his money went but to disagree that a person not yet convicted of a crime gets bail goes against everything our Constitution and law represents going clear back to the ten commandments

Personally; I think the U.S. should delay his extradition for a few months. Let him stay awhile and make sure he relates all involved and everyone who received donations, how much, what he got in return which groups, companies or non-profit organizations received or helped and political parties that had interest. Anything including names, business, dates time. A claim doesn’t remember or recall will be considered admission of guilty. Then maybe extradition to the U.S.

That’s something women have been known to do in court (but one guy did clutch his chest in pain and had to be taken to hospital after hearing he was found guilty). Years ago my male boss told me privately that his wife and my other gal boss got very nervous at the thought of appearing in court (so he always tried to do it in their place). The Bahamas is very corrupt (tiny town = it’s known judges may be besties with the very person who wronged you and that = unnecessary hardship for you)..
Also, I knew a few days of smelling poo (the Minister of national security recently took a trip there and was warned to ‘hold your breath’) and hearing men babbling/trying to force him to form an alliance with one of their kiddie gangs (in high school only BOYS joined these things) would make him see he should HAPPILY fly to the USA.

Any person accused of a crime in the United States of America is fully entitled to a bond and the ability to argue their case from the streets and not show up in front of a jury in jail garb. Simply getting a bail means nothing. The bill could be 50 million dollars if the judge saw fit but everyone until proven guilty has the same right to due process and those of you that are mad at that need to reevaluate their thought proceeds
