So your saying women should work more…home repair is a job, childcare is a side hustle.
Wait Landscaping/home repair and babysitting don’t pay that differently?
Why is that hard to explain? I don’t understand why it’s hard to explain the difference, I thought hard labor like digging and excavating in the current heat waves is harder than taking care of a baby in an air conditioned home, silly me I guess.
To be fair, no one is doing 9-5 in the office and trading their tie for a hard hat to go excavating for a few hours after sunset. What’s more likely is these creatures of the office space are getting quick and dirty side jobs like retail in grocery stores or any other jobs that pay as crappy but offer flexible hours. I don’t think “construction” was a good example. Landscaping may be a weekend gig but it isn’t as prevalent as the readily available “adolescence” type jobs.
I’ve never hard of excavating as a side hustle on top of a full time job lol. They mean mowing the lawn, painting walls, fixing cabinets. You would rather pay more for a guy to mow your lawn and trim bushes over someone taking care of your young child?? Weird.
Back in the day when babysitting and cutting lawns were jobs for kids, girls were told by the parents what they would pay for their babysitting and boys would tell their customers how much they charge to cut their grass and shovel snow.
Not always. Plenty of baby sitters in the 80s 90s and 2000s had a rate. You can’t just generalize like that.
or you can vote for Donald Trump and things fix themselves
*Even with the economic fluctuation, I am very excited to have earned $45,000 on my $10,000 investment every 10 days*

Hustles….seriously Yahoo ? how about coming home from working a normal 8hr-12hr shift that can actually pay all the bills and still have left over. It’s just the system that is broken. Inflation doesn’t and didn’t help these past few months.
