They might be falling apart, with misaligned body panels, going on rampages, with cops trying to pull over the asleep driver, but if you don’t consider burning alive because you are unaware of the emergency releases pulls, they are rated highly for safety. However, this increase in safety is believed to be more so attributed to the fact it’s an EV rather than building cars better than say Volvo or SAAB. (Yes SAAB doesn’t make cars anymore, but you firefighters out there know what Im saying.)

This is more of a testament to how safe Tesla’s are in crashes, that kind of fall and most cars would be a crumpled up metal tootsie roll, my god this was absolutely both horrible and astounding, props to the Firefighters and paramedics and especially that chopper pilot.
I like how the headlines portrayed it as the cars fault. Certainly not trying to drag Musk and make him and his companies look bad.
