Pele, the legendary Brazilian football player who rose from barefoot poverty to become one of the greatest and best-known athletes in modern history, has died at the age of 82.
Brazil’s government has declared three days of mourning following Pele’s death.
Tributes are pouring in from around the world for the 82-year-old who died after a long battle with cancer. He’s been described as the eternal king and the most divine of footballers.

He was the very first true natural genius player. As we saw in 1958 and he was just 17. But age doesnt matter when you have that kind of skill. The famous dummy around the keeper in mexico 1970 was the best dummy any one will ever see at a football match. I just wished he had scored it. But i thought maradona was better tbh.
