An elementary school in Newport News, Virginia, is reeling after a six-year-old allegedly shot and wounded his first-grade teacher. Police allege the boy intentionally fired a handgun in class, shooting his teacher after an altercation. No students were physically injured in the attack.

The first thing the court will do is revoke the parent’s gun license, if it can be shown that the parent was negligent in not safe-guarding the weapon and keeping it out-of-reach from his children. The second thing that the court will do is charge the parent and owner of the gun to pay for the convalescence of the wounded school teacher. If there was willful negligence, perhaps a fine and a jail sentence will be issued against the parent and owner of the gun.
So will the six year old kid get arrested for using the gun?

Back in high school I went to 2 different schools and they both had metal detectors and on top of that.every main entrance had people checking ur bags. No incidents at all whatsoever. Belts and those thermo cups would trigger it but that was about it. It puts kids on check.
