The change of mind is being driven by the economic downturn that has resulted from exiting the EU.

Sistems falling apart, from traffic to trash to health service. People spending savings and taking shadow loans just to get by…getting rude and impatient too, which wasn’t the case a couple of years or a decade ago. In time a new postbrexit balance will be established, but I doubt good ol’ times will come back any time soon. Financial industry has taken a huge hit. Businesses and crucial people are moving to EU; Ireland, Netherlands, France, Belgium. In short, EU is draining UK of it’s vital resources. We should discuss the situation across The Channel after another 5 years or so…

We’re not struggling to cope now any more than we were before Brexit. Actually prices have been very good for most of our produce the last few years. Where we are going to struggle is when the new trade deals kick in. The government shafted us there, but that’s not necessarily to be blamed on Brexit.
Would that be the same government you all voted for and continue to back? Those deals you mention will never replace what you threw away; you bought lies and the liars who sold them to you.
In the 17th – mid 20th century, Britain was on top since they were good at one thing, looting from their colonies and being shameless about it. Look at the British Museum and Royal jewels, stolen wealth that is proudly displayed. When modern media and geopolitical forces makes such stealing difficult, things have declined. Brexit is just one factor adding to that. Still not late to apply a wealth tax on the monarchy and return some of the stolen wealth to the commonwealth.
