Looks fun 😆 🤣 😂
Who was he talking to in the video?
Legend says he is still on top and sliding
imagine going out for a bit of fun and you end up having to do a quick time event.
That was sketchy af
If you imagine hard Enough you could actually believe he was on a bull
He was smart to live stream it. Had he been buried, there may have been a quick rescue effort in the right location.
Just thought of more reasons, the camera could get damaged, the battery could died, the signal could not be good enough, and if you’re just viewing it how would you take what you see and translate it to a map all within 15 minutes?
This is clearly go-pro footage uploaded later after “surviving,” not live-streamed from a cell phone. Not to mention there’s rarely any cell service in the backcountry, let alone a data connection.
It’s not helpful because scrambling rescue personnel takes time….as in all avalanche burials, it’s a race against the clock, and companion rescue (someone there already with the training and skills to extricate you) is the only feasible way to survive.
The video could be used for body recovery, however.
The likelihood of survival after 15 minutes falls off a cliff.
Anyones only real chance is that it is witnessed by their partner and they’re in a position to perform an immediate rescue. That’s also why you only want to expose one person at a time to an avalanche path so that if one person is caught carried and buried, there’s someone there to help.
Ya just no.
The ONLY people who can help you if you’re in a full burial are the people in your group and nearby groups. Your survival depends on them all having a Tranciever, Shovel probe, and knowing how to use them quickly.
If SAR is called they’re either there to treat your injuries after your party extracted you – or they’re recovering your body.
HE WASN’T LIVE-STREAMINGGGGG.
lol
At this moment
Were you scared??
Stfu.
Avalanche of disappointment.
Riding the lightning
What a cry baby that didn’t even look bad
I ski in these mountains all the time. This wasn’t nearly as violent as it looks.
With all those weather warnings when you still go doing to do these things it tells you something about that person mind and decision making process 🙄
Yeah… that they live life, and have fun. Not live in fear.
I remember being afraid going down a big water slide for the first time when I was young. Sliding down 300+ft with your life on the line must be some next level type of fear. Happy for him that luck was on his side with this one.
Not luck good survival skills and instincts.
BRAVE 🙏
I’m surprised that guy didn’t sink, considering how big his balls are.
I lost three friends in college to an avalanche. I’m so glad this guy is okay.
@Asian Muslim Midget hilariously pathetic angry troll, thanks for the laugh.
@Asian Muslim Midget whats wrong with you
@Asian Muslim Midgetlow tier bait. Try harder next time
@Asian Muslim Midget Aww. I feel bad for you.
@Asian Muslim Midget happy people don’t say edgy stuff anonymously for a attention and a dopamine hit. Hope you get through it.
Let’s put her in that situation and ask her back, “Were you scared?”
Good for him! He stayed on top…but he was sliding
Glad will Ferrell is ok
🤣
This dude needs to release some unisex merch:
“Slow down!”
“Stay on top!”
“I’m staying on top! But I am sliding!”
“I am sliding!”
I drove over Monarch Pass today and it was sketchy in my Subaru.
Monarch ski area was PACKED.
I bet the pow was awesome.
wErE yOu sCaReD¿? 😒
“Were you scared?” Dafuq bruh
I thought he was speaking in a different language
Logan I think he was sliding
Just last week we lost a skier at our Mt Charelston (just 30 mins from Las Vegas) that succumbed to an avalanche. His friends found him and performed 30 mins of CPR to no avail 😕
@Reid Ellis Awe 😊 thanks 🙏 His wisdom is our gift 💝
@Heidi Amen.
@Heidi I lived in Southern Utah for 8 years. I worked in Springdale, UT. The entrance to Zion National Park. It was the early 1990s. I also spent alot of time in Las Vegas. Lee Canyon is pretty cool. All my friends back then were into Skateboarding and Snowboarding. We had fun.
@Reid Ellis skateboard in the valley in the warm sun and skiing/snowboarding all in the same day if wanted 😉. Doesn’t however come close to the slopes in Utah….but us desert rats will take it 👍
@Heidi I had a Half Pipe in my backyard. I know all the guys that skated in LV in the early 90’s. Paul Smith, Mike Chu, Larry Jones, Otis Christian, Ryan Fabry, we had so much fun. There is a big connection between Las Vegas and St.George, UT., because of music and skateboarding. Those guys came up to Brian Head more than they went to Mt. Charleston. I loved those times.
So glad to see this gentleman survive, and sharing how he did.
Wow, 300 ft? That’s the short length of a football field that can be ran in under 10 seconds.
Not seen…Brown Snow
This dud stays on top for sure XD
“swimming…” yeah, sure
Well, what do they mean ‘swim’ on top of it?
I survived the avalanche by becoming best friends with a Bot on chatGpt and never leaving the house.
Weak sauce.
If I EVER get in that situation, I will remember STAY ON TOP. SWIM, wow!
The adrenaline went over the roof!
R.i.p ken block
It’s a good thing he wasn’t in a real avalanche
So if 6 people have died so far this year, shouldn’t there be an unreasonable response like banning snowboarding or something like? Or maybe I shot someone can get to protect them from something natural, like cold or a cold…??? It’s not very amerikkkan to allow this to happen without unreasonable interference!!!
“SEMITISM”, according to Webster’s and ALL of the other dictionaries, means you “Practice or believe in SHOWING JEWS FAVOR”… “SEMITIC” refers to ALL of the people of the area, Palestinians, Syrians and yes, isralies too… THEREFORE, “antisemitism” and “antisemitic” mean two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things… I LOVE Palestinian people, I do NOT believe in showing ANYONE “favor”, ESPECIALLY anyone that believe they are BORN SUPERIOR to ME… that I and everyone else is “just Goyim”… That is the MOST SUPREMACIST set of beliefs in the world and I’m ALLOWED to THINK that way and CHOOSE to NOT support it!! The one thing I do KNOW, I’ve been BEGGING for someone of that “faith”/NATIONAL IDENTITY to come TALK to me and EXPLAIN to me what I’m “WRONG about”, EXPLAIN to me WHY we give israel (a “FIRST WORLD” country) 3.8 BILLION DOLLARS a year INSTEAD of using it to fund ANTI-PEDOPHILE groups or Veterans groups or Women’s Rights groups or a PLETHORA of other BETTER causes, EXPLAIN to me ANY of the stuff that is supposedly “non-existent” and EXPLAIN what other reasons people feel the way they do about israel? I am a PERSON OF COLOR, my grandfather was a CONCENTRATION CAMP SURVIVOR, so you CAN’T just write me off as “some dumb skinhead”, yet I NEVER have ANYBODY that believes my OPINION WORTHY enough to come TRY to “adjust” it. I’m just supposed to believe a bunch of stuff that DOESN’T MAKE SENSE (well, OTHER than “conspiracy”) because it makes people uncomfortable talking about it.. AND/OR, I’m RIGHT and people don’t LIKE that… I’m open to being wrong, but again, I’m just not worthy enough, apparently… Just look at all of the responses I will get on THIS comment.. anybody who ASKS QUESTIONS or points out the INCREDIBLE HYPOCRISY and OBVIOUS APARTHEID going on, like Ben & Jerry’s saying they no longer want to sell in ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED TERRITORIES (STILL selling IN israel though), gets INSTANTLY labeled as someone who “hates jews”, when Ben & Jerry’s is a JEWISH COMPANY.. how does that work??? How is it that retirement funds for average people are being threatened over this? How come nobody’s really talking about it? Again, I’d LOVE to be WRONG, I’d LOVE for SOMEBODY to just come EXPLAIN it to me ANY of this, but NOBODY ever seems WILLING, because APPARENTLY I’M just beneath YOU.. am I WRONG?

What i find hilarious is you guys will waste money reporting on six lost lives this year, Whereas the world abortion clock recorded a 50,000 increase per day in Slaughtered infants. Just so we are clear we are slaughtering to the tune or 200,000 a day. Talk about rare.
My mans got to live out the Sonic Adventure Ice Cap level and survive to tell the tale. Respect 💪🏽
Keep playing stupid 😂
Obviously staged for clout🙄😒
I AM SLIIIIDINNG ok bro we get it just fall off the mountain next time
He stayed on top BUT, he was also sliding. 😌
I wouldn’t get too far into the back country personally without an air bag. This stuff happens, and air bags are effective. Even if it’s $500 a pop.
Love that just as the guy says “swim to the edge” they show a huge explosion of an avalanche that no one could escape.
Lmao bad timing
Haaha for real
What are the odds that he was the one responsible for the avalanche in the first place?
He was definitely not on piste when he recored that video.
Snowboarders _(to be fair: same goes for skiers)_ with helmet cam are known for leaving the piste, because “snowboarding _(skiing)_ off-piste is so much better! Look at all that untouched snow, man!Woohoo!”
He did cause it. Most avalanches with a skier/boarder involved are caused by themselves. Like 99% of them are.
I wouldn’t consider this an “avalanche,” nor would any backcountry aficionados I know. It was a steep-angle 300yd sluff that he could even have ridden out of. Could it have buried him? Sure, a few feet perhaps, but not the 10 to 40ft after falling thousands of yards that a true avalanche would. The lesson here is don’t go into the steep backcountry without more than a modicum of knowledge and experience, and don’t try to freakin STOP in the middle of a steep chute!
Stopping or too many, or too forceful speed checks could trigger in avi in that area is what you’re saying?
@Charley Gnarly yea pretty much. Though I’d still call it a big sluff slide vs an “avalanche” of any kind. Dude went into steep terrain on a deep day in a fairly tight timber chute on a board nonetheless- better decisions have been made. And yea, looks like he either checked or tried to stop in the middle of the cute, vs up on the “walls” where if something goes wrong it’s likely gonna happen in the chute and you can bail into the timber.
Steve Carell
They forgot the ONE THING that saved his life….. a Camera. Always carry a Camera at all times and keep it ON, Death is shy.
He did a smart move. You have to try to stay on top so you don’t suffocate in the snow.
Dude better make a shirt saying stay on top
Baby avalanche…glad your ok
He rode it over 300’….a football field. For the size relative to path, that’s not little. Def not a “baby avalanche “. People watch some massive AK avy and think that’s what’s happening regularly to people. Most avy fatalities occur during “small avalanches” of a few hundred feet.
That’s one thing I can’t believe people haven’t started yet… Avalanche surfing or Avalanche Swimming.
With all these crazy new extreme sports now that could be like the new ‘In’ thing to do purposefully starting avalanche so you could surf or swim them…
If somebody goes out and starts this after reading my comment I would like to be at least credited for coining the name on your new extreme sport🤣🤣🤣🤣
Knock yourself out, be the pioneer. I’ll be your first viewer, LOL. Hopefully not the last.
“Avalanche” mthrfckr your lucky it wasn’t a real one.
Reporters ask dumb questions sometimes. “Were you scared?”. Like really?
This is why a few Black folks go skiing, sky diving, play with wild beast, and none swim with sharks.
Kessler has taken multiple lives. Doing this line on a considerable day is extremely dumb.
Sonic moment💯
It didn’t look loke alot of snow
If only he could see in the future that he’d survive. That way he could enjoy the free snowcoaster ride. Looked pretty fun!
Whatta ride!!!
I don’t understand white people 😂 he wants to go back out there and swim with the snow again Lmao 🤣
Im sorry for all the lost in avalanche. I always want science to make life suit that give extra o2 when those happend. Like supersuit until we save them. Science should and have to advance to protect so no more losses. And we said we are going to live in moon while we cant even live without o2 for 5minute
👍🙏I’m glad he’s okay but he knows full well it’s a risk you take snowboarding & skiing.
😡I hate hate hate when reporters ask stupid questions! “Were you scared?” 🙄
Haha gotta squeeze that pun in there after that flurry of information!
By the grace he didn’t hit a tree
Thrill seekers have to accept the potential consequences that come along with these kinds of hobbies. It’s great that he is OK. I just always think when I see these videos I wouldn’t risk my life, but to each their own 🤷🏾♀️.
There are flotation devices that seem to help. Looks like one of the rescuers in the still frame was showing one off in a selfie
I guess so but regardless he got extremely lucky not crashing and turning into pulp from one of those pine trees.
IM STAYING ON TOP, BUT I AM SLIDING – Drake
🌫
Bro clickbait barely went down a hill
A great tip for avoiding an avalanche is remaining on the sofa at home watching football 🤣
I bet it was awesome
😉😙🤨😓😧😇🤭⛷⛷🏂🏌️♂️🏌️♀️
It’s nice to finally see some truthful news on fake stream media……
300 feet? 😃 my God that’s not even news Worthy.
What was going through you mind.
Me: WEEEEEEEeeeeeeee
That was a tiny slow slide… try again…
the kind of thing that will never happen to u if you dont go outside of your home.
Wow such great detail! You can see the steam coming from the poop in his pants!
next time he should focus on staying on top
“What was going through your mind when you were sliding?”
Me: “Snow.”
White people built America and the West
What people are destroying America and the West?
The Legendary Lee Canady is where it is at!
I will pray for America. Please pray for me. God Bless you.
Trump 2023! 🇺🇸
Why yell? Wouldn’t that cause more snow to fall. Goodness.
Were you scared?
-No actually I was having a ball…
He is sliding. Just in case you missed that part.
The Utah Avalanche Center had issued a high danger warning for Avalanches that day and the area he was riding in is super Avalanche prone. So prone in fact that they often close the canyon road below in order to initiate controlled slides. I am glad he made out alive but feel next time he and others should use better judgement and not only keep themselves alive but also keep those poor souls that will be entering a dangerous area to rescue them. Stay safe out there!
Badass🤟🏾
Absolutely fantastic reflexes.. He stayed above lsud down and floated the deep powder and steep terrain including the movement of the snow I saw.. Very quick thinking, great video for all tovsee who venture out in any deep snow especially this dense and avalanche prone as it is and has been thus far. god bless and thank you for recording and for sharing!!! Amazing video 😎😊🆙⚠♦
He kept his mind focused, I’m so glad he’s ok
miraculously surviving was not even a bad avalanche stayed on top whole time without even a airbag
That tracker 1 tho 😅
I’m not doing any activity where there’s a risk of me being buried alive in ice. Not happening.
My son and his girlfriend spent the weekend in Vale. The pictures were beautiful but I am glad they’re home and safe!
He sure sounded scared!
