Schools have thier hands tied. They legally could not expell him. Parents would have been sued if the kid was not allowed to be in school or if any of his so called rights were taken away. So in turn sue the pants off his parents, Make sure they give her all their furture earnings. They would have sued her for any reason at all.

At our school, a kid who is a habitual offender was sent to the “time out” room with a form. He would not have been allowed to play basketball per his coach’s rules. His admin. tore up the referral and walked with him around the school so his time out wouldn’t be recorded and he could play basketball that night.
Maybe the kid didn’t want to be groomed anymore. Virginia is pretty WOKE about that stuff.

It’s a miracle that he didn’t shoot the other child, which probably wouldn’t have survived this incident. The Lord had a hand on that child who complained about him, threatening him on the playground.
👮♂️🔫 ~ I actually sympathize with the administration. For two reasons. The kid was in first grade and also they didn’t want to be on the news media for calling the police on a little boy. And if this boy was non-white it would’ve absolutely went viral and the principal may lose their job.
And I’m gonna say something that’s going to seem insensitive: why did the teacher search the boys belongings herself (his pocket)? This is not like a 13 year old boy that could be scary to search by yourself if they had a gun, this is a first grader. I know one teacher, not the classroom teacher, requested to pass the boy down but if you were really that concerned would you do it anyway? Or what you call the police yourself? Or when you kick the kid out of the class and take them to the principals office for the principal to babysit? But the teacher didn’t do it. Why? Because I didn’t really think there was a big enough threat. The teacher might’ve thought that the kid should’ve been search better, But the teacher didn’t really think the threat was significant. But after the fact everybody wants to rewrite history.
