Poland has said what was probably a “Russian-made missile” fell on a village in the country’s east killing two people, but that there was “no concrete evidence” on who had fired it, as its NATO allies prepared to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the strike.
The Polish foreign ministry said the weapon fell on Przewodow, about six kilometres (3-1/2 miles) from the border with Ukraine, with the country convening a meeting of its national security council.

Most folks think Ukraine fired the missile, just as most folks think the US ordered the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline. A number of cities’s electrical grid was bombed by Russia. But Lviv was not one of them. A Russian drone or missile aimed at Kiev would not land in Poland 1000km away. Similarly air defense missiles fired from Kiev would not accidentally land in Poland. Last of all if a projectile was accidentally fired it would land harmlessly in a field with 99% probability. But that would not even make it into the news. So the most likely scenario was Ukraine fired it on purpose to cause a few but not too many deaths, to draw NATO into the fight. Ukraine has no way to stop the destruction of its electrical grid. The Ukrainian army can’t be resupplied if 90% of cities don’t have electricity. Ukraine is desparate. This will keep happening, unless the west firmly puts the blame on Ukraine.
